Hmmm...Ventus sounds good to me...and IMO its plenty long enough...

Anyway....i was searching around and found some other possible names...

Ventulus (means soft wind/breeze)
Ventosus (full of wind/windy)
Ventorium (winnowing fan....er...kind of has to do with wind..? ) >___>;;

Err...yeah...thats all i could find...but i think Ventus is the best... ^^;;

Nomura already said said that Ven was only a nickname, like many others here have stated.

You have not stumbled upon some astounding revelation; you have simply learned what most everyone else has already known.

And also, Nomura hasn't said anything regarding the games' voice actors. Don't go around spreading false rumors.

thats funny, if you say so that ventus is the latin word for sky/wind, sora's name means sky in japanese.
personally i dont really care, ven is a cool name by itself than ventus or watever. lol

Sora: Sky
Ventus: Wind

My brother is damn near fluent in Latin. He told me that Ventus is the onlyword of that caliber. Where it could be shorttened to Ven and still mean Wind.
