lol Yeah, that's right. you just keep thinking that, buddy. You are superior, we are all weak and you are strong, you have corrent opinions and we don't. that attitude is gonna make you some enemies, my friend, just wait and see. But fine, whatever, i'll leave you alone now so you can live the rest of your oh-so-superior life in peace.

Having said that...FF VII's OST was really different from IX's because IX felt more like the old ff's, with mages and more old-fashioned stuff, even tho the airships were really advanced technology. VII had more machines in it, and they were fighting against a big evil corporation, so the two music styles are really different and, to me, they're really hard to compare.

Remember that music you hear on the world map after the meteor is summoned? That was easily the worst music I've heard in an RPG...even worse than that of FFX-2.

I think if I remember correctly, that track it titled "The Northern Crater". I kind of agree though, I wasn't really fond of the way the synthesizer pooped that one out on the PlayStation. It was remixed for Advent Children, and can be heard during Kadaj's second conversation with the WCM. It sounds a little better, but was still unremarkable. Of all the tracks they had for Final Fantasy VII, I wish they hadn't have remixed that one. The Still More Fighting remix was also a big disappointment. Sounded nothing like the original except the opening few seconds. I had been hoping that they'd use the Black Mages version instead, but no.

Ok, ok, i admit that was a pretty bad track...but let's not exaggerate here. NOTHING - i repeat, NOTHING is as bad as FF X-2's music. That shit was synthesized crap at its worst. I liked most of FFVII's music and VIII's, even though practically everything was Eyes on Me in some form or another, was really pretty and it stayed with me.
