Yeah, I thought the rumors were that they were developing the Spider Man game instead of Insomniac.
Never believe rumours. Sucker Punch as the dev was quickly debunked and the info that Insomniac was doing it came out

The Japanese title is the reverse; Biohazard 7: Resident Evil. Funny thing is I have imagined something similar to happen for quote some time myself. Like a reboot called Biohazard outside of Japan and Resident Evil over there instead.

Also, Skylanders Crash is actually designed by the same guy who did the original Crash 1-design!

Have you been able to get the demo yet? I've had no such luck, I really wanna check it out.

And I screamed like such a fangirl when that music came on, I knew immediately what it was by the first note lol. So happy.

I don't have PS Plus, so no.

By the way, it's been confirmed that the entire game is first person and that you are a "regular" survivor.

So disappointed gravity rush 2 didn't appear in sony's conference..like dafuq sony?

It technically appeared in the sizzle reel at the end. In all seriousness, it's more of a niche title and won't likely be of monstrous success, and this conference was mostly reserved for announcements of major new games. Better they save time at E3 and show the game someplace else, as it'll do just fine not being at the show. News should come soon enough.

If I were to rank all of the conferences (not counting the PC one, as I did not watch), it'd be:
1. Sony
2. Microsoft
3. Bethesda
4. Ubisoft
5. EA

We've still got Nintendo left, and while EA wasn't a true press conference,it was still set up like one. After Microsoft's this morning, I wasn't sure how Sony would be able to top it. The pacing was excellent in both conferences, and Sony simply topped Microsoft with bigger, more frequent announcements. To Microsoft's credit, their games looked great and they made some awesome announcements regarding Xbox Live. They handled talking about Scorpio perfectly, although I don't know if it was necessary to announce it at the same conference as the Xbox One S. The only thing I truly wish Sony included in their conference was an announcement or two about some improvement to PSN (like username changes), but it wouldn't be strange for us to get that somewhere else, or even in a blog post.

Everything Sony showed looked fantastic, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the changes to God of War. A more human Kratos has been needed for such a long time, and the new gameplay looks great. I'm really happy that the game still carries with it the same atmosphere as the previous games in the series. Day's Gone looks interesting, and I think they've done enough to differentiate it from The Last of Us. The new Spider-Man game looks so awesome, and they could not have picked a better team to tackle it. Horizon looks just as great as expected. As someone who has never been a fan of Resident Evil, the new one definitely has me interested. It is nice to see The Last Guardian FINALLY has a release date. The way they brought Kojima out was super cool, and while I don't think they needed to announce a game so early, it was such a huge middle finger to Konami. The Crash announcement is a big deal, as the games are being fully remastered from the ground up, seemingly like Ratchet and Clank just was. I think this remaster, in a similar vein to what I think is being done with Ratchet and Clank, is being used to gauge interest in a potential new title for the series. The live orchestra was awesome, and was a much cooler way to open the conference than another sizzle reel.

Bethesda had some really cool announcements, and I'm actually interested in visiting Skyrim again for those mods. I wish we could have gotten to see a new Wolfenstein, but since we only got a teaser for it, I think we'll have to wait until next E3.

Both Ubisoft and EA's conferences were downright awful. Ubisoft had a lot of cool games to show off, but once the VR stuff hit, they spent way too long talking about each title. South Park looks fantastic, but most things shown after it could have been given so much less time on stage. Their "one last thing" moment felt exceptionally underwhelming, and again, was shown a little too much. EA's conference was worst though, as EA didn't have too much to talk about, and was really disappointing overall. I didn't expect much, and yet somehow got even less.

Overall, it was a solid two days of conferences, and I cannot wait to see Zelda tomorrow. Sony's conference was absolutely legendary, and Microsoft really knocked it out of the park as well. Console owners have so much to be excited about.

The lack of Persona 5 in Sony's conference made me sad though =/ I got excited seeing it in the little reel at the end of their conference. I thought they were having something shown about it? Or was that separately through Atlus? I think they could've definitely put it in their conference, gain even more popularity.

As good as the conference was, I do agree that we could have seen at least a new trailer or something from this game, but I guess Atlus will do that on their own terms, in a similar way as to how Rockstar has skipped E3 and will likely announce RD2 and GTA6 (eventually) on their own however they want.

If you have Google set up for your time zone you can type in 11:45 am PDT and it should automatically convert it to that time for you. So many people don't realise this (and so many people make us tell them about their own timezones via the KHI Twitter lol)

Since the mods were gracious enough to lock my thread, I'll just copy-paste my post here:

~I'll just come right out with it. Not once did I not feel like punching a hole through my diddlying computer screen during this conference. As a long-time PlayStation fan, it pains me to say that this conference was utterly SHAMEFUL.
Last year's show may have been mind-numbingly uninteresting, but this year's was downright infuriating.

So let's recap, shall we?

1) God of War has been rebooted into the autistic, three-way love-child of The Witcher 3, Hellblade and Horizon Zero Dawn (for God's sake, Horizon hasn't even been released yet!).
2) The Horizon protagonist wouldn't shut her obnoxious trap for more than 10 nanoseconds.
3) Half of the conference was dedicated to a peripheral that nobody gives two flying dicksacks about.
4) Squeenix subjecting us to a seizure-inducing wubstep FFXV trailer ending with an horrendously-looking, Kinect tier VR mini-game.
5) Presenting LEGO STAR WARS as if it's the greatest thing since the orgasm.
6) Sony pulling a goddamn Squeenix with Crash and disrespecting every single person in the audience with said stunt.
7) Ending the conference with yet another insipid, uninspired zombie shooter (which surprisingly and thankfully wasn't The Last of Us 2) that they revealed at the start of the damn show.

Make your list and check it twice, khinsiders.

The only things I genuinely gave an iota of a deuce about was Resident Evil 7 and Insomniac's Spiderman game.
That's it
.

More importantly, I want you all to brace yourselves for the impending, thought-to-be impossibility that I'm about to divulge to you all...

...I found the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare showcase more interesting than the majority of the shit shown at the conference. MEDITATE on that for a beat, folks. Call of Duty, the baron of blandness, the viscount of vapidity, was able to hold my attention without following an immediate eyebrow raise (what did follow was genuine surprise when I realized the thing was actually Call of Duty).

Just how? How could anyone fool themselves into believing this was a good conference? How come people rejoiced in unison because the Neo wasn't going to take up show time, but the same paste-eating retards then creamed their long johns over Sony feverishly fellating VR for half an hour? How is it that we're 4 years into this black brick's life-cycle and virtually none of these games are even remotely close to coming out?

I was planning on getting the Neo if they released more info about it, but now I've forgone the idea of repurchasing a PS4 entirely. I think I'll just crawl back into my mother's womb and play Ratchet and Clank on my PS3 for the proceeding year, diddly you very much.

"Sony wins"? "Best E3"? Piss off.
