Disney's doing a bad job

Okay, Disney hardly has anything good these days the only thing that comes to my mind that is good is pirates of the caribbean now in Kingdom Hearts they bring back old worlds but honestly what happens when they run out of good things to put on Kingdom Hearts I wonder, This has really pissed me off since all they've done with Mickey Mouse for years is use him as a logo and a mascot and done really stupid things like High School Musical they are still making a big deal out of that and it wasn't even that good if you ask me, They act like it was the highest watched in theaters when it wasn't even in theaters they need to move on from that. Though Perhaps they are just trying to bring back mickey and such through Kingdom Hearts but I still think they can do better.
If they run out of ideas i'm going to be so pissed, I also think they need to bring back shows like Mickey Mouse and Donald and things like that.
Today they are doing things like Kim Possible,Phineas and Pherb and The Replacements and those are all stupid shows if you ask me that's why I always turn the channel cause I know I can find something better and everyone in my school I know hates all of those shows.
They made a seperate channel for what's called Toon Disney there isn't that many good shows on there either and they don't even make new ones on the other hand other brands do, Sure the classics are pretty good but after watching them all what, They mainly play stupid things like Jetix or something and when I turn it there to find that, I literally get sick.
Now they might just use some little of Pixar there is in Kingdom Hearts and use there old worlds and such, They will more than likely have to make up some new worlds like Destiny Islands and Twilight Town not that those are bad worlds, those are really good worlds but they can do better if you ask me...
Now hopefully they have a reason and should have something better coming...

while i agree with your opinion on all the rubbish shows and that they should make more worlds i also would like it if they put more areas into some of the worlds they already have

like in destiny islands : wouldnt it be cool if you could explore the other islands than just the one with the hut and secret place

twilight town: being able to enter the houses or access more areas on the train cart thing would be better

Olympus coliseum: this would be much better if you could reach other parts of the underworld like were cerberus is kept and the other gate at the opposite side of the arena

Hollow bastion/ Radiant Garden : this would be better if you could access the castle there and see if anything has changed or that

Pirates of the carribean: this could become a better world if you had access to elizabeths mansion and more of the town area

Land of the dragons: would be better if we could travel further up the mountain

im sure there are more i just cant think of

If it weren't for Disney this game wouldn't even exist in the first place. I can relate with you to some degree, I am a sucker for the traditional movies. For example, I grew up with stuff like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. But there are still plenty of classics out there to be used. Birth By Sleep has proven that.

Anyway, I do admit that some of the worlds in previous titles have felt a little bit shallow. Really though, it's not because there are not enough ideas.. it's just how they're laid out. The POTC world was a big disappointment in my opinion, but I am sure as the games develop, so will the worlds. They just need that magic feel, which I think Port Royal lacked. Maybe less zones, more roaming environments, and the feeling that you're actually in a Disney cartoon. The thing is, consoles need to be able to manage that sorta thing.

So really, have some faith. Disney nowadays is not how it used to be, but really it's catering for the modern audience now. Yea High School Musical is hardly The Lion King, but it's still a big hit. There's a little bit for everybody, some parts you love, some you hate. Nomura has sense, I highly doubt he'll shove in a modern Disney show unless he feels it will work. Unless it's Chicken Little. BIG MISTAKE =P.

Ever heard of the series "House of Mouse"? They're definitely still working the Mickey and the others, don't worry about that.

Look, as far as I can see, you're just upset and want new things, because don't like these shows. But there are tons of other people, heck, even adults, who love these series' and enjoy watching the Disney Channel and other similar channels.

I agree that Disney is taking some new directions, like moving away from hand-drawn movies to animated computer-made movies or coming up with series' and movies with real actors, but that doesn't mean that Disney sucks all of a sudden.

It obviously just means newer Disney shows don't suit people like you anymore, that's all.

There's no need to worry about that. If Nomura and Disney can't manage this kind of little problem, then no one can. Just have some trust in the KH team, they always manage to make up great games.

Woah, hold it right there, I didn't murder/flame/bash it, I just pointed out things that didn't seem to really make sense.

And besides, doesn't anyone else think the way Disney is going now is quite an interesting topic? I know it might have been started the wrong way, but it's not that big of a deal if you ask me. >.>

I agree, you made some good points. In terms of KH, I think there are plenty of fresh ideas.

Besides, Disney are making new movies. There's a proper Tron 2 coming in the future, as well as Rapunzel and The Frog Princess. Yea there might be a Pirates 4 and a Cars 2, blatant money spinners, but I am sure there'll be something for everyone. Sequels are often unnecessary, but at times they can be fantastic. For example. there's going to be a Toy Story 3. I personally loved the sequel to the original. It's not always so simple, but hey. We have a lot of unused material here.

Ok Kim Possible series is over, Toon disney is 10 years old now so your a little late. They mostly show the shows like Tale Spin, DuckTales and Timon and Pumba, Phineas and Pherb looks really stupid at first glance but it really is a good show. Well planed and if you get the inside jokes that any true disney fan would understand then it is an extremely funny show.

Hannah Montanna, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, both very high rated shows. 2006 Suite Life was the most watched children/tween/teen show Hannah Montana was number 2. 2007 Hannah Montana was the most watched children/tween/teen show Suite life was number 2 while Nickelodean's Zoey 101 was number 3.

Ther is alot of pixar first of All, Toy Story 1 and 2, Monsters INC, Cars, Rattetouie,Finding Nemo,Wallie, Bugs Life,
Then there is disney's Meet the Robinsons,

Disney doesnt do Much with kingdom hearts at all Thats all square enix. Disney just helps with the american transfer and the actions of thier characters are in disney morals.

HSM was huge around the world. There r so many obsesive fans and if you watched the Teen CHoice awards you could see that the girls were fainting when Zac Effron came on stage with Vannessa

Mickey has a show on Toon Disney for younger children and its kinda like seaseme street or barney with a mix of Dora the explore in interaction methods of asking the audience to shout. Its a cute show. Its called Mickey's Club House. House of Mouse i thought was extremely funny and lasted five years but stoped in 2005. I was looking through the disney stuff and i research disney alot and they r plannign to make another show with mickey, donald, minnie, daisy, goofy and the others.

If I disliked Disney as much as you guys are acting like I do than that post would have been a lot worse, I would have said more trash talk on them, I simply mean it sounds like I hate them that much and I see how but I really don't, in fact I like Disney very much...
Also, Yes a lot of it was my opinion but the point is they havent been doing much for fans like me and yes the classics are good but after watching the house of mouse for so long you've pretty much seen them all, The House of Mouse is still a good show yes but they've had that series for so long, I mean how long until they do something new with him.

When I said there isn't that many good shows sort of did come out wrong, It is that the Jetix thing sucks but that's just my opinion but none of them are new, yes perhaps I did go a little bit strong on that and yes I will admit I am a little upset about having to wait for so long but you guys take things way too seriously, I don't hate Disney.

Now to get back on topic, I heard about the Toy Story 3 I think it's coming in a year or two.
Yeah the little kids show for Mickey Mouse isn't bad either it's just not for me though.
It's not a big deal but it does kind of weird me out how many people like HSM but there's people who don't, not a big deal I suppose.

I just hated Chicken Little being in there, my comment? Twas a joke. I personally did not like any of the summons in general in KH2, and preferred the likes of Bambi and Dumbo. At least those were traditional Disney characters.

About the sequel movies coming, have a quick browse online. Most are coming out around 2010.
