Digimon Civil War [Chapter I]

[Lone]

Before Clementine could reach the other children what felt like an earthquake began. This caused Clementine to fall to her knees clutching Koromon tight. "Clementine look." said Koromon in Clementine' ear. Two strange creatures both large in size had appeared around them.

"Welcome, DigiDestined." said the creature with the staff. "Back away from them, Barbamon!" said a larger creature that looked like a huge dragon.

The two began to quarl about who should go where and who was evil and who was good. All Clementine knew was that she was scared and she wanted to be safe from these large monsters. "Why don't we let them decide what they want to do?" said the creature with the staff. "My parents raised me to be a man of justice. And there's no justice in you." said the boy standing next to the two girls. He went to go stand with the dragon creature. Both the girls had something to say and they two went to stand behind the larger of the two monsters.

Suddenly the smaller creature looked over at Clementine a smile spread wide across its face. "How about you little girl are you going to join up with me and my friends to better the world." it said. Clementine afraid grabbed Koromon harder. He let out a tiny squeak that sounded like an act of protest. Clementine began to slowly back away towards the dragon creature. Before she knew it she was standing next to him as well as being next to the boy. Clementine looked up at the monster next to her. His face wasn't that of being scary but rather happy. Suddenly she wasn't so scared of him anymore, but she was still scared of the other one.

Gabriel gulped down hard as he saw the two large beings argue on who should be on who's side. Even though he was in a state of shock, his mind was still intact. Through moral interpretation, he was able to make a judgmental decision:

"Ah, sir Azulongmon. I wish to be on your side," he took a bow and ran behind Azulongmon. Knowing that Barbamon would not be satisfied with the decision that he had made.

Gummymon looked confused, "but Barbamon is funner to play with," it seemed as though the little Digimon did not understand the concept of good and evil.

 

[Nyx Winters]

So far most of them had chosen the big blue dragons side "i'm sorry" replied Roy as he picked pagumon and walked over behind Barbamon "but my path leads me here so i guess i'll see you no the battle feild" finished Roy as he sat on a nearby rock yeah and you better be ready because i'm gonna all whop your #$%@* got it shouted the in-training type at the others.

 

[Lord of Chaos]

Nikolai merely stood there as the two Digimon argued back and forth, trying to present each side to their case. He crossed his arms, looking away as they talked to each one of them in turn. Nikolai raised an eyebrow, thinking he saw someone running off in the distance, but it was too far away to really put detail to the action. He tapped his fingers on his upper arm in deep thought of who seemed to be more truthful in their words. Honesty was the only thing that really meant something to Nikolai, other than loyalty and trust. He wasn't sure which one he could trust, to be perfectly honest. It was then that he noticed they were both staring at him.

"So, which side do you choose... Nikolai, is it?"

Nikolai peered up into the many eyes of Azulongmon and even for a mere human, his gaze seemed to pierce even into the very soul of one of the oldest Digimon in existence. His gaze them slid over to Barbamon, who merely stood there, looking superior to them, even though he was trying to convince them to join in. He looked down at Xiaomon, who merely gave Nikolai a look that said he was with him, whatever he chose. Nikolai looked over to the other kids, and then back up to Azulongmon. Inside of his head, he was only asking himself one thing at this point, considering he wasn't sure who he could trust:

Who could give him more power?

He smirked a bit and compared the individuals from a physical perspective. Azulongmon was a giant dragon, of the Asian variety, and Barbamon was a crazy looking giant old man with a staff. He scratched his chin for a few seconds before finally nodding to Xiaomon, having made his decision.

"I choose... Azulongmon", he said, thinking in his head that he hoped he had chosen right... for now. He nodded to the other kids and walked over to stand next to them, standing next to Stephen in the process.

"Kid, you may not know why you're here, but I don't think you have the ability to speak for everyone... so why don't you just shut it?"

 

[Crimson Jazz]

Azulongmon wasn't as happy as he thought he would be. He thought all the kids would sense the evil in Barbamon, but apparently Roy couldn't. He saw Roy and his Pagumon stand next to Barbamon, and shook his head in disappointment. Maybe this child was not meant to be apart of the DigiDestined like Azulongmon though he was. But he couldn't worry about it now. He had to get the true DigiDestined kids back to the headquarters of the Sovereigns. He took one final look at Barbamon but did not speak to him.

But Barbamon, with Roy next to him, said, We'll see you on the battlefield, DigiDestined children. You'll regret making us your enemies.

Stephen then heard Nikolai say to him, Kid, you may not know why you're here, but I don't think you have the ability to speak for everyone... so why don't you just shut it?

"WHAT'D YOU SAY TO ME!?!" Stephen yelled in anger.

Stephen, calm down! Now, come, DigiDestined. We must leave this tainted place. Azulongmon said. Stephen gave Nikolai a dirty look. The Great Dragon Digimon summoned a barrier of light around the kids and their Digimon. He left the area, with the barrier holding the kids sticking closely next to him.

Nearly an hour or so later, the kids and Azulongmon had arrived to the continent of File Island. They then headed to File Island's capital, File City, a sprawling metropolis. Inside File City, the kids could see all types of Digimon living happily in peace. Azulongmon took them to the Sanctum Palace, where the Sovereigns held their war meetings. Once they reached the entrance, the kids and their Digimon were released from the barrier of light. Stephen looked up to Azulongmon and had to ask, "Excuse me, Mister Azulongmon? This place is cool and all, but do you mind telling us why we're all here?"

Azulongmon looked down to Stephen and replied, You are here because you are the saviors of our world. The six of you, are the DigiDestined.

 

[Lord of Chaos]

I knew it.

That's what Nikolai was thinking when he heard the term Digi-Destined anyway. He looked at the massive Azulongmon who floated about in front of them. Xiaomon was up in his arms again, watching the holy serpent as well. Nikolai merely smiled, thinking he had probably made the right decision by coming with the others. That Stephen kid was a punk, but it was fine. He could be dealt with easily, or so Nikolai hoped. Perhaps he was just having a bad day or something, but then again... why did he care?

"To better explain why you are here, it is best you know the recap of events in the past 15 years... " said Azulongmon, as he lead them into the palace itself, and into the large chamber where the Sovereign Dragon normally stayed. "Since the destruction of MaloMyotismon, the Digital World entered a state of temporary peace. Lives were rebuilt, Digimon reborn, and relationships with your world stabilized. However... it was not meant to last..."

Azulongmon circled around the top of the chamber, creating a large sphere, inside of which images and events unfolded as he explained them. "In ten of your years, after those events, small groups of extremists started to show up. They declared that the Sovereigns were ruling unjustly, that we were doing a bad job of keeping the Digital World safe, given past events. They wanted new leaders. At first we let these groups do as they please, believing that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It wasn't long though.. until they started to grow violent."

Images of Digimon attacking other Digimon floated across the screen. Behind the fighting Digimon... a dark, massive shadow seemed to be cast.

"We tried the best we could to stop the fighting, but to no avail. It wasn't until just a year or so ago in your time, that the real danger made itself present. The Seven Demon Lords... have risen. We thought them imprisoned or defunct in the Dark Areas... but they have come about to see an end to us. We thought of contacting your world for some help, but you were having problems of your own, or so it seemed... Plus, we did not want to endanger our relationship."

Nikolai watched the images on the screen that were no longer the Digital World... but his world. Images of attacks on countries by other countries, famines, floods, and everything else that was considered "typical" on Earth. He looked down at Xiaomon, who for the first time since they had met, looked very depressed. He pet the creature as he returned his attention to Azulongmon.

"The Seven Demon Lords went to work quickly. Within no time at all it seemed, they gathered their own armies, to wage war against us... and they split the best of us. The Royal Knights have even been split. They were our most valiant defenders... and Alphamon, the greatest, has fallen."

Images of noble and extremely powerful looking Digimon seemed to dance across the sphere. One in particular looked more grand, more fierce, and more regal than the rest. He assumed this to be Alphamon... and he watched him fall. They looked as powerful as the dragon floating around in front of them, but Nikolai knew better. There was a reason he was alive and some of them weren't.

"They seek to overthrow us and are slowly working their way towards the center of our domains. That is where you all come in. You were brought here to be our saviors, to be the last light against the Demon Lords as they increase their attacks. You all had deep interests in the Digital World and your names were written on the Stone. Lucemon and the rest of the Lords have their power growing daily. We also feel that the ruling of our world in 'justification of the Sovereign's failures' is not their only reason for coming out of their zones... They are much more devious, more cunning than that."

The Sphere seemed to be filled with shadows... no... Seven distinct silhouettes. The one at the front looked the most sinister, though they all looked gruesome. Nikolai wasn't sure he really wanted to know what they looked like. One of the silhouettes, however, was filled.

It was Barbamon.

"So Barbamon is one of the Seven Demon Lords?"

"Yes, Nikolai. He is their mouth, the speaker for those Damned. You are here though, to hopefully redeem some of the Digimon... if they see you, if they know you are here, then they know we are right and the Demon Lords are wrong! If we lose this war, Digi-Destined... your world would be next. Now... your Digivices..." said the Dragon, and as he said it, their Digivices floated away from them, out in front of them, held by glowing spheres of energy.

"These are your tools, your weapons... your lifelines. They function to form the connection between you and your Digimon. They also connect you to any other Digi-Destined here. You can send digital messages -- similar to text messages in your world -- to the other Digi-Destined, so that you know where everyone is at or what's going on in the world. There are other functions... but I will trust you to determine those on your own."

The Digivices floated back to their respective owners, and Nikolai looked at his. He wondered if his father knew anything about this, if this phone was made for this kind of thing or if it was all the fault of the Digital World. He clipped it onto his left chest coat pocket, and nodded to the dragon above.

"Now... Digi-Destined... you must act as one, as a team, to defeat these evils. We will do what we can to help you, but alas, this is not truly our fight for the time being. The other three Sovereigns are off on the other continents, providing as much protection as they can, as I must do here. So go, and do what you can for us!"

Nikolai felt the energy of magnificence brimming from Azulongmon. His power, his determination, his loyalty to the world he so grandly defended... it inspired Nikolai. He smirked as he looked over to Stephen and shook his head. "I can take care of these creeps. Xiaomon and I will have no problems. You just stay back and let me protect you."

 

[Wyvern]

Leon looked at the creature's eyes and he felt his father's voice seemed to come from it. After that, he found out the source of the pain was actually not from the voice, but from the poison that was injected by DemiDevimon previously. "Do not leave me Leon... Do not leave me... Take care of me..." Those were the only words he could hear at that time as his vision started to blur. Leon closed his eyes and truly wished this was just a nightmare or at least the side effect of the drugs he consumed yesterday. Unfortunately when he opened his eyes, he saw another demonic being walked towards him.

"How are you, tough guy? Enjoying the sleep much?" said that being. Feeling curious about it, Leon asked, "Who... are... you...?" "The name is Astamon, the Demon Lord of Sloth. And you my friend, are one lucky man. Welcome to the Digital World." said that being cheerfully. Leon looked away and closed his eyes again, thinking that the side effect of the drugs had gotten worse. "Hey relax, what is wrong? Is the poison a little bit too strong for you?" asked Astamon. Leon reluctantly replied, "What... do you... want?"

Then the demon lord said, "Well, I just want to help you. Believe it or not, you will not wake up tomorrow nor even having fun in your life anymore. Actually, you never have fun anyway. Life has screwed you big time, has it not? Feeling sad and pissed the whole time, wishing your parents or just somebody to be with you, worrying how long you will last in your world, etc" Leon just clenched his teeth, hoping if he could choke that demon lord to death right away. Astamon smirked and continued speaking, "Do not worry, I really understand your pain. See? That is why I am here. I am offering you a second chance to have a better life, or perhaps to screw life back if you want. All you need to do is very simple. Can you still see the cute little thing besides you?"

Leon looked at the creature again and it had stopped making sounds for some reasons. "His name is Arkadimon and he is your new buddy. This little guy also feels lonely and upset most of the time, just like you. He even has the same hobby as yours: beating the hell out of people. So I guess you guys can be great friends, am I right? Anyway, Arkadimon would suck the poison out of your body if you wanted to do him a favor, and guess what? He wants to be the most powerful being in the Digital World. No, he will not ask you to train him or anything. Watching you kicking somebody's ass is actually enough for him. So just kick as many asses as you can until you two get bored, though I doubt it will likely to happen. I am very sure you guys will have a good time together, you look as ugly as him after all," stated Astamon while laughing.

"But it is alright if you still think this is nonsense. I mean, Arkadimon can always find another person who wants to befriend him, so it is really up to you. Oh by the way, you only have about what? 30 seconds to live? You better hurry up and give me your answer. I have got other things to do too anyway." Leon hated to admit that Astamon was right for he could barely feel his heart beat, and it felt so real. Then he recalled every terrible thing he had done to all people he met, starting from stealing goods until stealing lives. After recalling them, he thought that he was not worth living in this world because of his many sins, and nobody even bothered to help him. As his heart beat was getting weaker, he sighed deeply. But then he suddenly opened his eyes and fueled by rage.

 

[Jozi]

"Now... Digi-Destined... you must act as one, as a team, to defeat these evils. We will do what we can to help you, but alas, this is not truly our fight for the time being. The other three Sovereigns are off on the other continents, providing as much protection as they can, as I must do here. So go, and do what you can for us!"

Gummymon looked up at Gabriel and saw a strange look in his eye, "Are you okay master?"

Gabriel's head had hung low, he clenched his fists until his knuckles were white. "Yeah, I guess I'll be all right,"

"Are you sure, you look sick." Gummymon saw Gabriel look up at Azulongmon to speak.

"But where... Where to we go," said Gabriel with much doubt for not only himself, but for everyone else around him. He did not understand why he was there, and why he was being a Digital Monster's lackey.

 

[Nyx Winters]

As Azulongmon left with the other digidestined he Turn to barbamon “so are we going now” asked Roy bored of watching the big blue dragon “yes” replied the sorcerer as they teleported back to the lair of the 7 demon lords.

As Roy looked at the magnificent structure he was interrupted by Barbamon “this is our main base the five digimon in front of you are my fellow demon lords I’ll introduce you our gunslinger Beezlemon, our goddess of darkness lilithmon, our powerhouse belphemon, out creepy lord daemon and our dragon lord leviamon”. Introduced barbamon as each gave his or her own little greeting “now this is our leader the angel lucemon” introduced Barbamon as he pointed at the 12-winged teen angel sitting on the throne.

Lucemon turned to notice them “ah Barbamon you returned and you brought one of the chosen with you as he seen the light” asked Lucemon in an innocent angelic voice “Yes my lord” replied Barbamon bowing before the Angel.

“Well you deserve to know what you are fighting for human a long time ago I was betrayed by my fellow angel digimon they wanted all the power and with the sovereigns behind them they defeated me and my brethren and sealed us within the darkest depths of what you’d call hell we had to fight our way out now we are back to claim what is ours and take vengeance on those who sealed us away “ explained lucemon.

Roy felt pity they were betrayed and sealed onto hell itself “I’ll help you” answered Roy in a confident voice “good here is your digivice so your partner may I see him” asked Beezlemon as he walked over to Roy nodded and Beezlemon touched the in trainings head as a black and white light surrounded the in trainings body.

Pagumon Digivolve to wargazimon out of the smoke there was a Gazimon “heya ready to roll partner?” asked the more matured voice of his partner “oh yeah” replied Roy as they celebrated his evolution.

(With lucemon)
“w-what He should of digivolved into a dorimon or at least a demidevimon I’ve never seen a digimon like this I’m going to keep a close eye on you Roy” were the malicious thoughts of lucemon from his throne.

 

[Lone]

The larger of the two creatures apparently called Azulongmon transported all the children plus her to a city called File City. Azulongmon began to explain things in the Digital World and their own. All the things that happened in the real world began to make sense now. Suddenly her so called Digivice flew into the air infront of her and began to glow. He explained it had something to do with the Digimon. Then he made an announcement.

"Now... Digi-Destined... you must act as one, as a team, to defeat these evils. We will do what we can to help you, but alas, this is not truly our fight for the time being. The other three Sovereigns are off on the other continents, providing as much protection as they can, as I must do here. So go, and do what you can for us!"

"Clementine I have something to say to both you and Koromon. I think all of you Digidestined should hear this." Azulongmon looked down at Koromon. "Small one there is a great destiny upon you that this young girl and all the other children and their Digimon will help bring out in you. Hopefully when the time is right that destiny will reveal itself. You may not know it or remember it but you have a great power sleeping within you." said Azulongmon. "Now children if you go around the city and ask around there should be something that you could help with, the smallest thing can sometimes be the biggest thing." said Azulongmon.

 

[Crimson Jazz]

Azulongmon's speech was sad yet very moving. He explained the previous interactions between Earth and the DigiWorld, how the civil war started, the loss of Royal Knight Alphamon, and the kids role in this war. Jasmine was curious, though. Clearly, Azulongmon and the other Sovereigns command great power, yet the war is still going on. She started shaking her head, and Azulongmon noticed this. He looked at her and asked,

"Jasmine, is there something wrong?"

Jasmine looked up at the Dragon Digimon and replied, "Azulongmon, you and the other Sovereigns are supposed to be the rulers of the DigiWorld. And, if you have so much power, why are you still allowing this war to continue on?"

"The answer to that is simple, Jasmine. It is because we cannot directly involve ourselves in the affairs of the Digital World."

"But... why not?" Karina asked.

"Because our involvement will further erupt the balance of this world, giving the Demon Lords a greater upper hand in this war. And that is something we cannot allow."

Jasmine now understood. Azulongmon hoped the other DigiDestined kids did as well. He then continued his speech.

"Now... Digi-Destined... you must act as one, as a team, to defeat these evils. We will do what we can to help you, but alas, this is not truly our fight for the time being. The other three Sovereigns are off on the other continents, providing as much protection as they can, as I must do here. So go, and do what you can for us!"

This moved Stephen. He looked at Azulongmon and replied, "We won't let you down, Azulongmon!"

I can take care of these creeps. Xiaomon and I will have no problems. You just stay back and let me protect you.

Stephen glared at Nikolai and said, "He said it will take ALL of us, working as a team. Or does the concept of team not mean anything to you?"

Meanwhile, Karina had heard Gabriel say, But where... Where do we go?

"Yeah, Azulongmon. Do you like...have anything you need to us do?" Karina asked immediately after Gabriel.

Azulongmon pondered the question for a moment, and came up with an answer, "Not at the moment, DigiDestined. The most I can recommend for you now is that you train your Digimon so they can know what it's like to be out there on the battlefield. We have a Training Simulator Facility not to far from here. Go there, and if I have any problems that require your immediate attention, I will contact you on your Digivices."

Stephen smiled. He pulled out his Digivice and gripped it firmly in his hand. He looked at Dorimon, who had looked up at Stephen with a great big smile. He then looked at his fellow DigiDestined teammates and said, "Guys, let's get down to business!"

 

[Lone]

Azulongmon continued explaining things and answering questions. "I can take care of these creeps. Xiaomon and I will have no problems. You just stay back and let me protect you." said Nikolia. "He said it will take ALL of us, working as a team. Or does the concept of team not mean anything to you?" said Stephen rather angrily. "So the other Sovereigns (as Azulongmon called them) where on the other continents" Clementine thought to herself. "Also they need to train their Digimon to become stronger or as Azulongmon put it they wouldn't stand a chance." Clementine thought again.

"Guys, let's get down to business!" said Stephen with a big smile.

Koromon was getting figgety. Clementine looked down at him. He was looking tired and when she began to move him his stomach or what she thought was his stomach began to growl. Not a moment later hers began to growl as well. Clementine being who she was wasn't about to ask people she didn't know questions. Koromon let out a sigh. Stephen looked in their direction looking questionative.
Koromon hopped out of Clementines arms and onto the floor.

"Hey guys can we get something to eat before we go to the training ground." asked Koromon looking more tired. "Koromon don't be so outright about it." said Clementine scooping him up and hiding her face from the others.

 

[Lord of Chaos]

Nikolai glared at Stephen and looked down at Xiaomon. "Some people are just reckless..."

He walked off after Azulongmon cleared what they were to do. It was time to go to this Training Simulator. Nikolai pet Xiaomon and shrugged off the question of food -- this was no time for games, and he would eat after he and Xiaomon learned a little more about each other. The place they were in was huge, but he knew where he was going because of the chamber titles.

"We're going to get stronger, huh Nikolai?" asked Xiaomon hopefully. Nikolai nodded as they entered into the Training Simulator Facility. It was a large chamber with with all sorts of side chambers. This entire building or section was meant for training... or so Azulongmon had told them. Nikolai smiled, and went into one particular room. He saw a panel in a smaller side room and walked over to it, placing Xiaomon on the floor. He looked at the "recommended" which was In-Training... but, Nikolai figured he really needed to fight something more relevant. "Ready Xiaomon?"

Xiaomon nodded and prepared himself, looking confident and focused. Nikolai pressed the button and summoned a Rookie-level Saykomon. It was a green putty creature inside of a clam shell. Nikolai watched from the side room as Xiaomon raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you sure this is okay? I mean... what if it beats me?"

Nikolai shook his head. "It won't. Fight!" He watched as Xiaomon nodded and watched Syakomon. Xiaomon growled and ran to the side, watching the creature. He noted that it was slower than him, and then --

"Water Pressure!"

Xiaomon was smacked in the face with a bolt of water and slammed into the wall behind him. Nikolai cringed and then smirked a bit. "Get up Xiaomon, you have the right idea! Get behind him, he's too slow! Move faster!" Xiaomon nodded as they spoke. He growled and ran, but this time leaped up and ran along the wall as Syakomon shot out the burst of water, and bounced from the wall, tackling Syakomon with his Tsumo move, sending Syakomon flying into the wall. Xiaomon barked in happiness as Syakomon righted itself and turned to face him. Xiaomon tried the maneuver again but this time when he came in range to tackle him, Syakomon called out.

"Black Pearl Shot!"

Xiaomon was slung back, harassed by a cloud of black pearls that were like bullets. He cried out as he landed, and slowly got back to his feet. Nikolai grimaced and squeezed his fists tightly. "Come on, Xiaomon... I have faith in you! Just a little more!" He gave Xiaomon a thumb's up and nodded. Xiaomon barked again and this time, ran straight at Syakomon. As he drew closer, he rolled to the left, dodging the Water Pressure, and then dodging to the right, against another shot of water. As Xiaomon drew up next to Syakomon, as predicted, the clam digimon shot out a cloud of pearls. This time, Xiaomon leaped into the air, over the cloud of pearls and dive-bombed into Syakomon with a full powered Tsumo attack.

The Syakomon went flying, and vanished from sight. Nikolai ran out into the room and over to Xiaomon. "Buddy, are you alright?" After he affirmed it, Nikolai smiled and walked back over to the panel, and summoned another Syakomon. Xiaomon growled at the creature, ready to tear it apart and eager. He was tired, but eager. And so, another fight began...

Afterward, Nikolai ran over to the exhausted digimon, giving him a look of concern, asking without words if he was alright. Xiaomon nodded and then started to glow brightly. Nikolai gasped as he took a step back out of fear and awe, as Xiamon cried out. "Xiaomon! Digivolve to..."

His shape changed, growing larger and now standing on two leg. It looked more canine in its silhouette. As the light died, he cried out again... as his new form.

"Labramon!"

Nikolai looked at the larger, dog digimon. He smiled a bit and held out his hand. Labramon looked up at him and grinned with that toothy grin. He shook his hand with his paw and then nodded. "Thank you Nikolai! For believing in me!"


Nikolai smiled and nodded. "Now, let's go find some lunch..."

 

[Wyvern]

Somewhere in a desert in Digital World, a man was walking alone. Steel chains wrapped around his arms and a grotesque creature attached on his shoulder. That man was no other than Leon who had recovered from the injury. He still could not forget how the demon lord fooled him a moment earlier.

"Wise choice, buddy. Now that Arkadimon has saved your life, I think it is your turn to return the favor," implied Astamon while pointing at Arkadimon on Leon's shoulder. Leon immediately got up and tried to choke the demon lord. However before he could do that, he felt pain again just like when he was still poisoned and kneeled on the ground. He found out that the pain came from the shoulder where Arkadimon attached himself. Leon attempted to get rid of that creature from his shoulder, but the pain got worse and took away a lot of his energy. Astamon just yawned and said, "No cannot do, sir. Like it or not, you work for me now. Show some respect, would you?" Then he kicked Leon's face, causing him to fall on the ground. "I have forgotten to mention that Arkadimon is also my buddy, so he can give you the same pain or worse whenever you mess up with us. But do not worry, we both will not let you die. In fact, we have got a lot of things to do and we need you sir, to help us taking care of them. Do you not feel like a VIP now?" Astamon lighted his cigarette on fire and started smoking. "Oh, where are my manners? Want some? Here, let me help you relax buddy." the demon lord put another cigarette on Leon's mouth and lighted it on fire too. He just spitted the cigarette after Astamon had done that. The demon lord only sighed as he stood up again and said, "It seems like you cannot take an easy at all. Oh well, I guess I am done here. See you later buddy," said Astamon before he turned his back. At that time Leon yelled at him, "When we meet again, I swear you will pay for this!!" His pain became even worse after he had said that. "Well, that is cool. But do not worry, we will, and you do not have to find me for I will find you." Then Astamon covered himself with dark mist and disappeared. For a couple of seconds Leon could see the demon lord's face became scarier and more beast-like before he completely disappeared.

When he stopped recalling his memory, a huge bird-like creature which possessed burning black feathers flew towards Leon and tried to attack him with its claws.

DigiAnalyzer:

Saberdramon
A Champion Level Evil Digimon who resembles a black phoenix. It stalks its prey and it is very brutal. Its signature attack is Black Saber when it flaps its wings and sends black flames from the sky.

"Black Saber!" screamed that creature when he unleashed his attack. Leon wrapped his chains around an old tree besides him and swing himself on it to avoid Saberdramon's attack. After successfully avoiding the attack, he stopped himself for a moment as he looked at the giant creature angrily and suddenly Leon felt a great power entering his body. He looked at Arkadimon and that creature's eyes were glowing. Then Leon gripped his chains tightly and charged at Saberdramon while Arkadimon extended his crab-like arms from his body.

 

[Nyx Winters]

Gazimon,Roy and their escort's a sangloupmon,apemon,devimon and a wizardmon were taking them to their new training area wherever he went the creatures of darkness bowed before him offering their services to him calling him my lord "why are they bowing before me sangloupmon" asked Roy in interest as they passed another small village "because of a prophecy young master that the the ones chosen of light and dark will come together as one to conquer an evil greater then both to save their world and ours" replied sangloupmon earning a snicker from devimon "have something to add devimon" asked an annoyed sangloupmon turning to the snickering devimon "yes i do you have another prophecy if you destroy the chosen of light that you shalt reign terror and destruction over both human and digital worlds taking you place as king beside lord lucemon so their bowing because they don't want to be on the bad side of the future king" replied devimon with the most evil grin on his face "okey".

couple hours later
(the abandoned city

"why are we here" asked Roy and gazimon in unison "to train you" replied wizardmon looking bored as hell "okay how?" asked gazimon by "letting you and the lord run into the city with a half hour start before we go running in to kill you you must survive at least 3 days ready go" explained wizardmon as he activated his watch at instinct both Roy and his partner ran full pace into the city finally finding a hiding place inside a subway system "this kinda reminds me of new York if it was empty and been used as a battle ground" Roy thought aloud as he walked down the tunnel before "found you" shouted apemon as its fist crushed the ground right in front of them "not so fast Mach dark claw " shouted Gazimon as he delivered four hits to apemons face sending him back with the darkness surrounding gazimon's claws "c'mon run their gonna keep coming" shouted gazimon as the two ran with smiles on their faces both thinking the same thing "this is the life".

 

[Jozi]

Gabriel watched in dismay as Nikolai and his new Digimon; Labramon, calmly walked away in search for more food. "See Gummymon, that's what we have to do for you to Digivolve,"

"Do I have to, I feel tired. And you know what they say about tired Digimon," said Gummymon quite lazily.

"No I don't, and even if I did you would be still going in there mister," he then walked over to the In-Training simulator door and waited for Gummymon to fallow.

Gummymon looked at him for a moment, "Oh alright, I guess we can have it your way." Gummymon walked into the simulation room, waiting for his parter to enter.


"Now that's the spirit!" Gabriel closed the door as Gummymon walked in. A small screen appeared in-front of them allowing Gabriel to select the Digimon that he wanted his parter to fight. "How about, a Budmon. He's not to strong, but not to easy to handle either," as he pressed the button he noticed that no Digimon were appearing. So he kept pressing the button, over and over again.

Suddenly, fifteen Budmon started to materialize. They had small green bodies that were covered in purple thorns, and also a small green leaf for a tail. Once they surrounded Gabriel and Gummymon, who were in shock. They had decided to attack, "Poison Spine!"

What seemed like a thousand thorns had shot out into the air, many hitting Gabriel and Gummymon. "Gummymon you have to attack," said Gabriel in urgency.

"Right, Double Bubble!" a barrage of bubbles who shot out in sets of two. Each Budmon that was hit had Digitalized into thin air, after two more Double Bubble attack; only two Budmon were left.

"Nice Gummymon! Finish him," Gummymon breathed in, and then shot out more bubbles. Thus killing off the rest of the Budmon, "Alright Gummymon, you did it."

"I feel funny master," just before Gabriel could tell Gummymon to stop calling him his master, Gabriel's Digivice had started to glow. Gummymon then was engulfed in light, "Gummymon Digivolve to... Terriermon!"

"Oh wow, Gu... I mean Terriermon. You look so different," Instead of being a little green blob. Terriermon was now a little rabbit/dog like Digimon with a calm and robust personality, "I guess you want to rest?"

"No, I want to train!"

Some people are just reckless... Stephen heard Nikolai say.

He could only shake his head at his fellow DigiDestined. Maybe Nikolai just wasn't a big team player. But, oh well. Stephen had no time to worry about this. He and Dorimon had to train for the dangers ahead. The two of them walked over to the Digimon Training Simulation Facility, with Karina, Jasmine, Chichimon, and Moonmon right behind them. They noticed that this facility was rather huge. Once they were inside, they could see a Digimon that seemed to be a bird and beast hybrid. It was a Silphymon, and he was the owner and overseer of the facility, making sure that everything was operating correctly and that everyone was receiving appropriate training. Stephen had asked Silphymon, "Can you set up a room for me and Dorimon?"

Silphymon nodded his head and took them to Room 2. Room 1 was occupied by Nikolai and his Xiaomon. As they entered their room, Silphymon had asked through the intercom system what setting they would like. Stephen looked down to Dorimon, who had given his own suggestion, "Start us off against a Rookie level!" Dorimon's answer was confident, yet filled with cockiness. He acted as if an In-Training Digimon was too weak for him, even though he himself was only at the In-Training stage. Stephen only shrugged his shoulders and agreed.

Silphymon began the simulation, and an Agumon materialized. Seconds after the Agumon appeared, Dorimon had driven head-first into it's stomach with his Ram Attack. The Agumon fell to the floor, and sat there for only a few seconds. It got back up and unleashed one of it's attacks.

"Pepper Breath!"

The attack hit Dorimon and and left a few burn marks, but nothing too serious. He shook himself off and then ran towards Agumon at a great speed. But instead of unleashing his Ram Attack ability again, he used another one of his attacks, "Iron Bead!" Dorimon had fired three small beads of iron at the Agumon, inflicting some damage upon it. Then he used his Ram Attack once more, this time ramming into Agumon's head. This attack proved to be too much for Agumon, knocking it out cold. Dorimon was the victor. Stephen was very happy for Dorimon, who was jumping around the room in joy. But they had to remember, this was just a training simulation.

"Hey, Dorimon, you feel like going again?"

"Yeah, sure! I've got some energy left." Dorimon replied. He then looked over at Silphymon and said, "C'mon, Silphymon, give me another Rookie to fight!"

Silyphymon rebooted the system, and this time, a KoKabuterimon appeared. Dorimon tried to begin the battle by attacking KoKabuterimon with his Ram Attack, but it inflicted little damage. KoKabuterimon used it's Claw Slash attack, scratching Dorimon across the face. One could tell that Dorimon was in pain, but for some reason, that pain would not keep him down. He used his Iron Bead attack, which inflicted SOME damage on KoKabuterimon, but not enough. After that, KoKabuterimon unleashed his signature attack, Beetle Shocker. It hit Dorimon, sending shockwaves throughout his body.

Dorimon tried to stand up again, but couldn't. He collapsed to the ground, and Stephen ran over to him. Stephen kneeled, and almost started to cry as he saw his Digimon partner writhing in pain. Stephen petted Dorimon and said, "Dorimon... you have to get up! You have to beat this guy! Don't quit now!"

Dorimon coughed three times and then replied, "I will NEVER quit."

Suddenly, Stephen's Digivice began to glow. He pulled it out, and Dorimon began to react to what was happening.

"Dorimon digivolve to...."

Dorimon had grown larger. He was now standing on only two feet, and was only an inch shorter than Stephen. His tail was longer, and he had gained two small wings on his back. This was no longer Dorimon. Now he was...

"Dorumon!"

"D-Dorumon?"

Dorumon nodded his head and stared down KoKabuterimon. He took off running towards the insect and then unleashed one of his new attacks, "Metal Cannon!" With this attack, Dorumon fired medium-sized balls of metal at KoKabuterimon, inflicting damage upon it. Then, he used his secondary attack, Hyper Headbutt. Dorumon charged in head-first at the Insect Digimon, hitting him in his chest. This final attack had finally finished off KoKabuterimon, sending him to the ground in defeat. It de-materialized, and Dorumon was the clear winner. Stephen and Dorumon then ran to each other and hugged, laughing while they did.

"Wow! Dori- I mean Dorumon, that was awesome! You were awesome!" Stephen happily proclaimed.

Dorumon laughed and replied, "Thanks, Stephen! I couldn't Digivolve without you, though."

Dorumon's stomach then began to growl. Stephen noticed this and said, "Huh? You're hungry already? But we're ju-" Stephen then stopped mid-sentence, hearing his own stomach growling. He looked at Dorumon and said, "Well, we can continue training after we eat."

The two of them exited the facility and tried to find someplace to get something to eat.

 

[Wyvern]

Meanwhile in the Demon Lords' castle, Astamon was relaxing on his throne room with Lilithmon and two LadyDevimon. Lilithmon and Astamon had been kissing each other's lips for a long time while one of the LadyDevimon massaged him. The other LadyDevimon just sat besides him and put her head on his shoulder. Suddenly a huge flame occurred from nowhere in front of Astamon and the others. When the flame disappeared, a red-hooded being stood up and approached them. Lilithmon stopped kissing Astamon and looked at that being. "Ah~ look who is coming~" stated Lilithmon.

Astamon was surprised but then he just laughed and spoke to that being, "That was a good one, Daemon. You have got me, really. But could you not just use the door to come in? Anyway, champagne?" Astamon offered him the drink. Daemon took it but then he burnt it using the flame from his hand, "Do you really think this is the right time to fool around?!" "Here we go again~ Come on girls, let's hang around somewhere else," commanded Lilithmon to the two LadyDevimon for she felt annoyed. Daemon looked at her and told her, "Do not think you will ever get away with this, Lilithmon. I will talk to you later." "Oh, I cannot wait~" replied Lilithmon sarcastically as she and the two LadyDevimon left the room.

Then Astamon put his forehead on his own hands and said, "That was not cool, man. Seriously, what was that for? Can I just rest for a while?" "You have been resting yourself too much, you idiot! More importantly, what did you think you are doing to Arkadimon?! Did you not know that it is one of our greatest weapons?!", asked Daemon, increasing his voice tone. But Astamon still spoke calmly, "Yeah, I knew that. I have done exactly as the boss said. He wanted Arkadimon to have an insane human partner, so I searched for one and gave that guy to it." "There are many other humans who are a lot more capable than him! That fool does not even know where exactly he is, who we truly are, what exactly he is supposed to do, what has been going on, and you did not even tell him!! I have no idea why Lucemon chose you for this task!" yelled Daemon. "I do not know, because you were too busy whining to someone else?" "Listen you..." Daemon grabbed Astamon by collar and he was about to yell at him once more but Astamon quickly interrupted, "Wow wow wow... Fine, I am sorry. Just let me fix this, okay?" "You better do! If I had not seen any effort from you in 2 days, then you would be dead to me! Understand??" yelled Daemon again. "2 days? Oh come on, that is not even..." "Do you understand?!?!" replied Daemon quickly, tighten his grip. "Yes sir..." After Astamon had agreed with him, he pushed him away and disappeared in flames.

Astamon rubbed his neck and called one of his servants. "Phelesmon!" shouted Astamon. Then the servant immediately entered his lord's room, bowed slightly, and politely asked his lord, "Yes, my lord?" "Call Boltmon and his crew. Tell them to kill Leon and bring back Arkadimon."

 

[Crimson Jazz]

Stephen and Dorumon exited the training facility and headed to Digitamamon's Eatery, a place recommended to them by Silphymon. Once inside, they saw that Jasmine, Moonmon, Karina, and Chicchimon already there, waiting to be served. The four of them had left the facility earlier in order to get something to eat. They were amazed to see that Dorimon had digivolved, and Chicchimon and Moonmon had their own thoughts about digivolving. Stephen and Dorumon went over and sat with them at their table.

They were given menus by a Burgermon. Looking at the menu, they saw a verity of special foods specifically for Digimon, and a whole menu with a list of human dishes on it. Whoever this Digitamamon was, he or she must have had previous encounters with humans, who possibly gave him these recipes. A different Burgermon walked over to their table and asked, "Hello, I'm Burgermon, and I'll be your waiter for today. Are you read to order?" The Burgermon then pulled out a tablet to write the orders on.

"I'll have a Digi-Burger. Hold the lettuce." replied Dorumon.

"Um... I'll take a Digi-Salad, with a side of Digi-dressing." replied Chicchimon.

"Can I get the fruit salad? That's all for me." Moonmon replied.

Stephen looked down the menu and finally decided on a choice, "Hmm.... I GUESS I'll take an order of ramen noodles, if they're anything like the ramen from Earth."

"Give me the clam chowder soup. Extra thick." said Karina.

"I'll only take a human salad, with a side of ranch dressing. By the way, how did you guys get all these human dishes?" Jasmine asked.

"Oh, our owner, Digitamamon, has had a lot of encounters with humans, and they shared many of your human recipes with him. And thanks to those recipes, this is the biggest restaurant in the entire Digital World." the Burgermon answered. This claim could be supported by the full house of Digimon currently in the Eatery.

The Burgermon took the orders to the kitchen and gave them to Digitamamon, who immediately began to prepare the DigiDestined's food. About ten minutes later, their food was done, and Digitamamon himself took the food to them. When Digitamammon exited the kitchen, the DigiDestined could see that mostly his entire body in an egg shell except for his dinosaur-like green legs and golden eyes. As he reached the DigiDestined's table, he began to praise them, thinking they were one of the old DigiDestined teams he encountered fifteen years ago.

"Oh, DigiDestined! It is so great to see you again!" he said. He then looked over at Stephen, "Davis, did you cut your hair and get a tan?"

"Huh? My name isn't Davis. My name is Stephen. I think your confusing us for the old DigiDestined." Stephen replied.

Digitamamon looked saddened. He lowered his head and said, "Oh... Oh, my, you're right. I'm sorry. It's just... you're the first humans to come here in a long time, and when Burgermon told me humans were hear, I thought you were them. Well, anyway, enjoy your food!"

Digitamamon went back to the kitchen to work on the orders of the other costumers. The kids and their Digimon chowed down on their food, enjoying it very much. But minutes after finishing his food, Chicchimon began to tremble. His trembling began to scare Karina, who thought he was choking or having some sort of stroke. She when over to him to try to perform CPR on him. But this did not help, for he was not choking, nor having a stroke.

He was digivolving...

Karina's Digivice started to glow brightly, and Chicchimon reacted to this.

"Chicchimon! Digivolve to..."

Chicchimon grow just a few feet taller. His lower body, minus his legs, became covered in a white egg shell. His wings grew longer, and a sword became strapped to his back. And finally, his hair was tied in a warrior's wolf tail. Everyone could tell that this was no longer Chicchimon. No, he was now...

"Hyokomon!"

The same thing was happening to Moonmon. She was began to digivolve as well.

"Moonmon digivolve to..."

Her new body became bunny-shaped, with two additional ears pointing downward. She was several feet taller, and had crescent moon symbols all around her body. Moonmon had now become...

"Lunamon!"

Both Karina and Jasmine were ecstatic that their Digimon had digivolved to the Rookie level. But they were very curious as to how they were able to do this since they had not had any training yet. Digitamamon came out from the kitchen, spotting the two newly-digivolved Digimon. The girls turned to them asked him how this was possible.

"Well, In-Training level Digimon that are too weak for battle have been known to digivolve once they consume food. And they certainly finished their plates." Digitamamon said.

"Wow! Congratulations, you two!" Stephen happily said to Karina and Jasmine.

"Oh, man, this is so awesome! Lunamon, how do you feel?" Jasmine asked.

"I feel great, Jasmine! And it's all thanks to you!" replied Lunamon. She then proceeded to hug Jasmine. Hyokomon did the same thing to Karina.

"Well, I guess we're all done. How much is our bill, Digitamamon?" asked Stephen.

"Don't worry about your bill. Azulongmon told me to put all your orders on the house. Also, here's an emergency supply bag, filled with snacks to take with you on the road." he replied. He then handed the bag to Jasmine, who put it on her back.

"Wow, thanks Digitamamon!" she said. The three DigiDestined members and their Digimon left the eatery, heading back to the facility to further train.

 

[Wyvern]

Leon arrived at a ruined city. He looked around and he found many dead Digimon on the ground and their data were not completely disappeared. Knowing this, Arkadimon extended his arms and absorbed the remaining data of the dead Digimon. Strangely, this made Leon to not being hungry anymore and eventually healed his wounds from his previous battles. "I am very proud of you, Leon," said a voice in his head, although he just ignored it as he kept walking.

A few minutes later, he found himself in the middle of a battle field. Many Digimon were fighting each other here and there, and the feud appeared to be between the demonic Digimon and the Digimon who looked like either a beast or a human. Meanwhile, the smaller and weaker Digimon were being chased by the demonic one. Some of them ran towards Leon, and the closer one who looked like a puppy was being chased by a huge green Digimon with large jaw and carried a big bone club.

DigiAnalyzer:

Salamon
A Rookie Level Digimon who resembles a puppy. She rarely fights as she is unable to control her power yet.

Ogremon
A Champion Level Evil Digimon who is a bounty hunter. He carries a bone club that is said to be a femur of a slain Digimon. His signature attack is Bone Cudgel when he whacks his opponent with his club.

"Help!!" screamed Salamon, running closer towards Leon and hiding herself behind him. Ogremon jumped and was about to smash both of them with his weapon but Leon quickly wrapped Ogremon's neck with his chains and slammed the green monster down to the ground. Then Leon put his foot behind Ogremon's back and choked him to death using his chains. Arkadimon quickly absorbed Ogremon's data after Leon had killed him whilst Salamon was terrified after watching him mercilessly killed the green monster who had once threatened her life. Leon had only looked at her for a couple of seconds and walked away, killing some other Digimon who tried to attack him.

Eventually, the Digimon whom he killed were all the demonic Digimon for they had stood on his path. So other demonic Digimon became scared of him and they started to run away from the battle field one by one until the human-like and the beast-like Digimon became the victors of the battle. "We have successfully defended our city again!" shouted Dinohyumon, the Digimon who seemed to be the leader of the other Digimon as they screamed in joy after hearing him. But suddenly one of them shouted and pointed at Leon, "Watch out everybody! One of them is still here!" All Digimon immediately prepared their battle stances and aimed their weapons at him. Leon also prepared his battle stance while he looked at them in anger.

However, the little puppy Digimon stood in front of him and spoke loudly to the others, "Stop it! He is not one of them!" "What are you doing, little girl?! Stay away from him, he is very dangerous!" told the same Digimon who pointed at Leon earlier. "No, he is not! He saved my life a moment ago! Please do not hurt him!" Many Digimon were shocked when they heard the girl's words until Dinohyumon himself finally came down to talk to her, "Listen Salamon, although he has indeed saved you before, you still should not trust him immediately for he might have other intentions of doing it."

Other Digimon agreed with their leader and began telling Salamon to stay away from him as well. Leon looked down and clenched his fist because even in the Digital World, nobody could not trust him and they still hated him no matter what he did. Although the only reason he killed Ogremon was the green monster had tried to kill him first, not for saving Salamon. But still, he thought he deserved better than being hated by other people. His irrational thinking made Arkadimon influenced him easier to kill those Digimon, until he had forgotten that there was someone who stood for him. "I do not care! I trust him! If you people wanted to harm him, you should harm me first!" yelled Salamon to the others, unfortunately they still wanted him dead. Leon heard one of them shouted, "Hey! Stop playing around, Salamon! Get back here! He is a demon damn it!" The puppy Digimon was still trying to do her best to protect him, but he could not hold his anger any longer.

Arkadimon's eyes glowed as he extended his arms on his back again, preparing to feast on the Digimon's data. Unlike in the human world, he could actually murder a lot of people at once at that moment. He began to feel that there was a greater power entering his body. Meanwhile, the Digimon were all charging at Leon when they saw Arkadimon extended his arms. Salamon was surprised because of their sudden reaction and she looked back at him. But then she realized that she had helped the wrong person once after she had seen his true nature: a psychotic killer. "Come on boy, make me proud again," said the voice in his head.
