I know C_U made a thread about BP like twenty years ago, but I didn't feel like bumping a really old thread >_>;

Bloc Party without a pause is my favorite band. Their varied styles and talent impresses me every time I listen to them. Their latest single, "The Prayer" isn't as great as the Silent Alarm but still a great song nonetheless.

Any other Bloc fans out there? :O

Although I don't like Weekend in the City as much as I like Silent Alarm.
It's still amazing.

Kruezburg is my favorite on their new album by far.

But the thing is u cant state a bloc party song and say "that is what bloc party sound like overall" cuz ther all diffrent!!!!

yes you should.

It took me a while to really get into Weekend but once I did it became my favorite Bloc Party album.

Uniform, Song for Clay, SXRT, Prayer are my personal favorites.

However Positive Tension is still my favorite song from them.

I lurve them. 2 years back they were on tour with Panic! At the Disco... I didn't like them as much then... but the drummer's lung collapsed so they weren't able to perform. I really regret that now.
But yush. They are amazing.

I never really got into them.

Though Silent alarm was great, I loved it. After a while though I kind of stopeed listening to them. WitC was decent to me.

Bloc party is sort of hit or miss.

ahahaha. So true. Hard-Fi are so shit.

But then again, I feel that I should like them more than I do. They still seem a little bland, or just too toned down for me.

Favourites: This Modern Love, Flux etc.
