Just dropping you a line after reading the College Applications thread. I also major in English, and I am pleased that you're thinking of doing the same. Of all my friends, I'm one of the only ones who enjoys their degree; I feel privileged that I get to do what I consider as a hobby, academically and get a qualification out of it. So, I just wanted to encourage you, and wish you the best of luck in your applications.
