A basic physics problem for you, fireflame.
A car travels a distance of 145 feet in 4.5 seconds before coming to a stop. What is:
a.) The car's initial velocity?
b.) The car's acceleration?
Express in units m/s and m/s^2 respectively.
As agreed in the chat, if you get the question wrong, you receive a 3 month long ban. However, if you get it right, I will retire from my super mod position. But this is on one condition: you may not use the internet, a physics textbook, a parent, a friend (haha), or any outside assistance. If so, you will automatically receive a 3 month-long ban. (Don't even try cheating, for I will know about it). Also, I must see your work. You are to write all of your work on a scratch piece of paper, take a picture of it, scan it to your computer, upload it to an image hosting site, and post it here. Failure to do so will result in an immediate ban, as agreed upon in the chat.
Enjoy!
Hint: Use a kinematics equation.
edit:
Oh, right, if you fail to post an answer by 12 am CST on Sunday, November 23rd, you will automatically receive the 3 month-long ban.
