you've achieved a new level of manipulation
you've done what others have failed to do
you've used my kindness and stabbed me with it
and as I die unappreciated by the monster i created
because this forbidden fruit was never meant to be
to go untouched and untainted by such empathy
the cold air you breathe was wretched apathy
you didn't care about me so long as I idolized you
how you gave in and thrust a vorpal blade through me
slowly did I die just waiting for you to try to reconcile
it never came and so this game I became to you
just what is my life if nothing but your fail-safe
because no matter how broken the mind can be
I'll put myself back together again just to find you
because not only is my love unyielding
but my retribution as merciless as bruce lee
