Does Sora have Xion's memory? Was that why Sora was able to recognize Roxas in the photo with the sea-salt ice cream?

Xion is ultimately Sora's memories, along with that of Roxas's and Riku's.
He recognized Roxas because of Roxas within him.
No .
The point is that Xion was utterly and completely forgotten, as if she never existed.
No, the secret ending of BBS merely reinforced what the normal ending of Re:coded shows; that there are people that are hurting, and Sora must save them. Those people are Naminé, Xion, Roxas, Axel, Terra, Ven, and Aqua.
I don't think Sora can access the memories of Roxas' time in the Organization either.
It would be mind boggling to him to have both memories now that you mentioned it.
Memories are flowing out of Sora, and at the same time, fragments of memory are coming back into him. I sense a great number of memory fragments. One—no, way more.
Fragments of memory of so many people—There, Riku memories are also mixed in. I have handled Riku memories once before, when I copied those memories into the Replica, so I recognise them.
Why is she absorbing even Riku memories? What on earth is happening?
And, you—what on earth is she?
Maybe that will be the shocking ending to DDD!!!!!!It's a wonder Sora doesn't have some sort of dissociative identity disorder...
Maybe that will be the shocking ending to DDD!!!!!!
But really, Xion will somehow be saved in some way, but I think that she might not "exist" again though.
Organization_42 said:In some cases, I can agree with you on that, like with Axel, Sora, and in a non-KH example, Harry Potter. But there are still some scenarios, like Xion's, where it just doesn't sit well with me, and that's because in Xion's case, her whole story is about her coming to terms with her fate, that her fate is unavoidable, and that she cannot be saved. Not even a memory of her. So, to suddenly go back on that feels meaningless to me.
In comparison, while Harry did have a prophecy to deal with that suggested he could die, it wasn't guaranteed, and Dumbledore even said that Voldemort's big mistake was taking the prophecy too seriously; that if they hadn't heard it, the prophecy might never have come true. So it wasn't like Harry was constantly hearing about how he was doomed to die to bring down Voldemort, and then found a loophole at the last minute. Heck, the loophole that allowed Harry to survive was even foreshadowed back in Book 4, so it didn't come completely out of nowhere. And then we have cases like Axel, where it was a last-minute sacrifice.
Xion's potential return reminds me more of Breaking Dawn. In the Twilight Saga, especially Eclipse, Bella learns that people who turn into vampires are dangerous for a year and it's impossible for them to fight the urge to bite as many humans as possible, and that once she turns, she'll have to give up her human life and probably her friends and family forever. So, she's got a difficult choice before her: either remain human and have limited time with Edward, or turn into a vampire and have to cut off ties with everyone else. Oh, but then she turns into a vampire and- gasp! She can resist the scent of human blood from the get-go! It took Carlisle centuries to do that, but not Bella! Her life just becomes perfect, without any reason given. First they think it's her special vampire talent- but then she gets a special vampire talent, so that's not it! She's just special that way!
It frustrates me when writers establish rules for their worlds and characters, and then just decide not to follow them for whatever reason. I love happy endings much more than depressing endings, but they should at least make sense!
I would like that, but I don't see how that is even possible. She doesn't exist. She was never ment to exist and as far as anyone remembers, she doesn't, never ment to develop into a person. Don't you see? She is a PUPPET!!! A PUPPET!!!!!!
And those "parts" belong to her and no one else.
