We wanted what wasn’t there
So we stopped wanting
We were hurt by everything
So we stopped feeling
We saw all there was
So we stopped looking
We regretted it all
But we kept living

We were harmed by many
We injured many
So we kept crying
We cursed everything
We hated all
So we kept weeping

They stayed innocent
They withstood it all
Now they are flying
And I walk alone

[Passion]

I enjoyed the first stanza a lot but I really didn't care for the final stanza. It just didn't seem to fit in with what you established. It seemed like you kind of threw it in to try and force some kind of moral or something in our face. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good.
