Target has done that a few times. I remember preordering some game at Target and I got a reservation card. They took it though and I don't remember what game it was.

=D Can I buy the card, not get the game and still get the gift card? Or do I have to make a complete transaction to get the gift card? And if I do buy the game, can I apply the gift card to the purchase?
