Do you thing Ven's real name could be Venom and Nomora (sp?) was just trying to mess us up and say that there names meant earth elements? The reason why I think this is his name is because no one can figure out who Venom is and they cant figure out Ven's real name. Any other name thoughts?

well Ven's full name is most likely Ventus(wind latin)...idk who this Venom character is or how he relates to KH so someone please tell me
Venom was mentioned a few times by Nomora and in a few videos surrounding KH.
which videos because ive seen all the new cutscenes from KH:FM2+ and all the ones from KH2 included all scans so please tell me
I've just heard that from some people though out the forum. I'm not actually sure. I'll try to find out. I think they mean they think they know what or who Venom is.

Ventus does mean wind and it would match perfectly with the other names(Terra-earth latin, Aquawater latin...Sorawind japanese, Rikuearth japanese, Kairiwater japanese

Venom (I believe) is just how that French mag described DS, kinda like how we call him DS, they call him Venom. Ven's full name is very likely Ventus (as has been said) because the rest of VAT's names mean stuff in Latin (Water and Earth, respectively) and of course it relates to SRK.

really......Venom. Why are ppl so gullible to a name that was used to signify a nickname for Ven. I thought they were describing the look of the DS, but that's me.

When we got the translations for the French magazine we finally figured out that by Venom they meant DS because he looked like Venom from spider man. I thought everybody knew this by now.
It doesn't matter anyway because there have been many threads like this already and they have all said in the end that Venom stood for DS. Anyways, its just a nickname and Nomura never said it so their is no actual person in BBS that is called Venom.

I say it is just another name for the DS, we call it what we want and the French or whatever will call them Venom.

Yeah, Ven's real name has been brought up a lot. Thing is, if it's Ventus, that's not REALLY long like Nomura and everything has said. Maybe it's like an acronym or something. Or maybe Ventus is only part of his name.
As far as the elemental names go, it's interesting that there hasn't been any fire name yet I don't think. Axel was heavily involved with a fiery persona, but not his name...
However, maybe the translation of Ventus in Japanese is really long. If anyone knows Japanese, maybe you could try to figure that out.
