Now, How the HELL does Vanitas know what Riku's Sword Style(and/or stance.)
Or is it the other way around.

Now I've been hearing alot of How Ven and Vanitas etc.

But Vanitas body features are very striking to Riku in the suit(maybe without).
Now I know what your thinking, it is the suit. But would it be that way if Sora wore it.

Nomura said and I quote,
"The person wearing the full-faced helmet (The Dark Soldier), have they appeared in the previous games?

Now Terra might have noticed that while looking at Sora and Riku that Riku's style is similar to Vanitas.

Why are they so similar?!
What could this all mean?!

I think that Vanitas is Xehanort. And because he is a name stealer, his original name was Vanitas but somewhere along the way he adopted Master Xehanort's own name.

Vanitas says 'show me your strength' to someone and i know ive heard someone say that before in the series...cant quite remember who though.

i remember show me your strength as well, anyone know where it originated from? riku or ansem SOD perhaps? also, i thought i might point out that vanitas isnt identical in his stance to riku. he holds his keyblade farther away and his hand is faced down not up, so they arent the same person most likely (as in, like replica or something)

hmm.. i think the characters in BBS our related to sora and friends in some way. that would explain why the styles and looks of the characters to are so similar to the ones in BBS. That would explian roxas looking like ven. Or maybe it has something to with birth of heartless and nobodies maybe. all i know for sure is i want the game to come outASAP.

I'm pretty sure it was Riku. Xemnas barely talked during the battles and I don't think Ansem ever said that. I coulda sworn I heard Sephiroth say it once. He talks a lot.

I was thinkin of that, but since Master Eraqs trained Terra, Aqua, & Ven, Master Yensid is training Mickey Mouse, maybe Master Xehanort trained Vanitas on the side. I don't know, some of the theories about Vanitas just seem to obvious. Being of Darkness, made from the Darkness in Master Xehanort, etc.

I'm hopin he's someone new. Like an old friend of Terra, Aqua, & Ven who turned to the darkside thanks to Master Xehanort, or like he was a survivor of the Keyblade war or something.

Ummm Yeah it is. His keyblade is in the same position and the any other differences are just there.

For now, I have three people who seem like likely candidates for Vanitas' true identity: Ienzo (He hasn't been revealed otherwise as of yet), Braig (Same with him), and the Xehanort from the original series (although I'm leaning more toward Xehanort being Terra). I think Ienzo would be around the right age at the time... So I'll go with that for now. Besides, he seems the most like Riku. And he seems to know a lot more than he lets on.

Ok, from what I see, they hold The Keyblade the same way, but their stance isn't the same. Riku is standing and looks as if the left leg (slightly bent) is in the back and the front foot is slightly in front, but not like it's close to his back foot. Kind of like the Engarde Fencing stance.

Vanitas is bent down and it looks like his right knee is bent and pointed outwards, while his left leg is straight and flexed.

I'd say it's different.

although the stance is undeniably the same you guys are hopeless in the fact that the stance isn't unique. It's a T stance which can be utilized with a sword as a point stab method, or a defense method.
