Re: Tim Burton's - Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Yeah it seems that when you hear of a Burton creation you think of Depp. Depp and Burton kinda go hand in hand eh?

I've heard that's because Depp is Burton's child's godfather. This is why you'll see Depp and Helena Carter starring together: Carter is Burton's wife and Depp is their closest friend and godfather.

Depp's costume for the mad hatter looks a little frightening. D: Almost too much white makeup, I'm kind of hoping that's just a trial run kind of thing.

Either way, I'm excited to see this movie! It'd be great if there was a trailer or two.

At least he doesnt look too much like the Disney's Mad Hatter. he would look a little too much like Willy Wonka.

I can't wait to see what he does with this. I did like the orignal, but I have a feeling I might prefer this one more. J.D as M.H= box office sellout in my town.:/

True that. Depp as anything = sellout anywhere. My friends went to Sweeney Todd just because he was in it. They didn't like it so much, weren't big Tim Burton fans and found it too distubring. They really did see it just for Depp.

Oh Depp. <-<

That's what's gonna happen with this one, I think. The crowd will be a mix: Those who truly love Tim Burton's films and are prepared for something dark, creepy, and with twisted humor. And then those who are just there to see Depp because Depp is a great actor who is easy on the eyes. This is the unfortunate thing about Depp being in the Pirates movies: kids see him, love him, and want to see his all movies, which aren't all kid friendly and not everyone is able to like Burton.

This movie is still going to rock. Does anyone know a rating?

And as if from nowhere, I must comment on how ridiculously hyped I am for this film, even if just for Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar alone <3.

March 19 2010 is going to be one helluva day =P.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is probably one of my favorite books. I really hope that they don't mess this thing up.

You know what, I just noticed that this movie is a very very long way away. Oh well, still hyped.

^It does. I think Jonny will do exceptionally well, like he does in everything.

I can't wait for Tim Burton's adaption.
The Disney version was, well it wasn't all that great.
I hope Burton adds some of his good, old twists in his story.

Re: Tim Burton's - Alice in Wonderland (2010)

It looks like it'll suck. Why would he make a dark Alice in Wonderland? There's totally no reason he should make this. I'm definitley not going to see this. *Flips off Tim Burton*
