I would also love to see a stage based off of Treasure Planet, would love to be able to traverse the ship Jim rides in the beginning, like Sora and crew could come across their ship while its being attacked by Heartless, and then travel with them to Treasure Planet, and that's how it would show up on the world Map. Would love to have Jim as a party member, his weapon could be the usage of Morph, like in the TP Videogames.
This.
Except eh the usage of Morph like in the video games? I think they'd just give him a hand held powder gun like in the movie.
I don't think they'd spend too much time and effort on the side characters.

@Demyx: Yeah, I can see those being good worlds, though Studio Ghibli owns the rights to those. Disney only does the western distribution of them, as far as I know. :(

For the record, "Franchise" is a term not usually applied to these movies, but rather groups of movies and toys, etc.

Now, The Rescuers would be cool. Becoming the size of a mouse and doing that.

Wreck-it-ralph was also one of the better movies i've seen this year so far. And I'm pretty sure they can do something with Vanellope's glitching.

I agree with mostly everything in Celtis' article, except Roger Rabbit. I never liked the film and the overall tone isn't something I can see KH or the KH team in general ever getting close to matching.

I also agree with many of you about including other movies like Treasure Planet, Atlantis, and Pocahontas.

Can I have Brother Bear and Meet the Robinsons worlds, though?

For the record, "Franchise" is a term not usually applied to these movies, but rather groups of movies and toys, etc.

To be fair, a lot of these films have been franchised on by Disney/Pixar.

Oi, spoiler tag that crap, especially when it is a new film. Unless you went searching for this info, not many know about Vanellope's glitching.

I see a lot of people wanting Emperor's New Groove and while that remains as one of my favorite movies... it really wouldn't work in the KH universe. The story is learning experience for Pacha and Kuzco and about how they learn from each other, etc etc. And also, there isn't really... any villains to defeat other than Ezma but even then, there wasn't so much of a fight as running. There'd be nothing to fight and I really don't see heartless making a good home in this world.

It'd end up being 95% cutscene and just be forced as an escort mission with Sora and crew with Pacha and Kuzco, which is definitely not something I want to happen with ENG. I think it's better left alone.

Though I will say this: It would be fun to see Sora and crew switch around animal vials as well.

To be fair, how many fights are their in any Disney movie? Frollo didnt provide much of one, as Quasi and Esmerelda were trying to hide from him, for example, and we had an enemy to supplement that fact in DDD. the Hyenas were a boss and they never had a proper fight in any of the Lion King movies. I see Yzma Kitty being a boss along the lines of Lucifer in BBS(minus being shrunk): fun and slightly goofy, but nothing to take too seriously and a precurser to the real fight with whatever creature they have in store.

I think that while Kuzco and Patcha's relationship is a valid reason on your part, the world in general would have about as much to offer as any Disney world has. And it doesnt even have to end with those two characters. They get the most important bits, but with maneuvring, Sora and Co. could fit without feeling like they lack purpose. Like have them run into Kronk or something(he did have a life outside working for Yzma) or keep them active some other way.

it's not a spoiler nor is it info that I searched for. It was something implied in the trailer and then revealed in like a press thing or something. Either way, I didnt consider it a spoiler, as there are much bigger spoilers in the movie.

How many people have seen the press thing? I can safely say a small portion of people did. I definitely didn't know it when watching the trailers, and I am very sure others will/were just as shocked to know.

It is still a spoiler. Mark anything related to Wreck-It Ralph with spoiler tags, please.

Wreck-It Ralph would be hilarious to see.

Especially if one of the arcade machines was Space Paranoids, just to make Sora go WTF

I agree that Emperor's New Groove, while not an ideal world, could work. I think it would be very funny if the world started off with Sora and co. drinking different potions, each getting turned into a different animal, and then someone steals the human, duck, and dog drinks respectively, forcing SDG to trek through the world, tracking down this person who stole them (probably Yzma). As long as this is in the world, I'm fine:

I'm currently obsessing right now over the film, and technically you are right. Sarah Silverman stated nearly exactly what you said in an interview with her from IGN and it is also in the press release. However, it isn't implied in any one of the trailers or scenes that were revealed on various sites so I still wouldn't include it. Better to be spoiler tag it in case :)

I do plan on making a future "What 10 Worlds Should Never Be in KH", and maybe you'll see some of my reasoning for franchises that didn't make it on this list.

Given the fact that i complain about the movie a lot, Chicken Little is probably gonna be on the list.

I don't think Roger Rabbit is Disney owned. They created the show Bonkers as a legal substitution of it.

That is mostly true, but it didnt ruin the movie for me. The best moments were still the best. One of the trailers, she does say "everyone thinks I'm a mistake" but I guess they didnt really put it in much of the ads. It's just one of those things on the web. In fact, the little kids books were released a month before the movie came out and gave away a lot more. It just wasnt a really big one in the long run-more like a relatively basic description of the character. You have to see the movie to see what I consider actual spoilers and they are much bigger than that. That was vaguely implied in one of the trailers, but the spoilers i'm talking about werent given a flim frame's worth of thought in the marketing(aside from Little Golden Books, etc.)

Either way, I apologize.

I could be wrong, but I think he is. Who else would he be owned by? I looked up Roger Rabbit and for the most part, I can't find anything about him outside of Disney properties.

Proof?

It just doesnt make sense that Roger Rabbit wouldnt be Disney owned. A lot of the characters are licensed properties but the original ones must be completely Disney. That might've been the legal issue leading to Bonkers.

Either way, while Roger Rabbit should in some way be represented, Toon Town might not be the best idea because of so many licensed characters being there plus we already have two or three versions of mickey in the series; one where he's an "actor" might be a difficult sell.

Pixie Hollow might make it, as soon as Disney reveals where it is in Neverland. However, based on where that franchise ends, it may have to be a "Time Travel" world, assuming she leaves forever like Barrie's original backstory for her(I think. I dont know if he ever wrote that. the 2003 movie had more pixies)
