Ananaias walked through a dense forest, continually glancing up at the sky whenever there was a break in trees. Day by day, minute by minute, the sky was reddening even more
'This is getting absurd...' he thought to himself. 'This needs to be stopped...I need to find out who is controlling this beast.'
He walked further along a light path of dirt, still looking up. He could hear the faintest sounds of birds chirping, foxes running, and the sound of feet running. Running? Why was he hearing that? This was a path only he knew about; or so he thought. He continued to walk, silently as ever, but faster, still. The footsteps were growing louder behind him, and closer, too. He heard a sound, as if metal rubbing against metal - the sound of a sword being drawn from it's sheath. The birds that he had heard earlier took flight, for they sensed the danger in the atmosphere.
'There would be blood spill at this very spot.'Ananaias thought' And it won't be mine' He gripped his staff tighter, preparing for a battle.
