Me too. And we've seen what the Book of Prophecies can do for three years now... if Maleficent truly has it, her threat level is officially Xehanort tier.
Thanks to what Maleficent says, this makes me think that the Dandelions escaped the Keyblade War by hiding in the Book of Prophecies itself. The rest of the Dandelions could have left the book long ago and left the Player character in it due to his needing to, you know, heal from the MASSIVE POUNDING he took from four consecutive Foretellers. Frankly I don't even know how he/she's alive to begin with.
I have no idea HOW they'd do it, but... if Sora manages to wrest the Book of Prophecies away from Maleficent... could he release our Player into Kingdom Hearts 3?

Thanks for the hard work. And you too Sign. I'm now so confused though. We dreamed everything? After Master Ava invited us, we dreamed the rest of the game? How did we randomly fall asleep in Echanted Dominion? How did we even get there? How can Player even sleep there? It's like super dangerous with all that Darkness that attracts Heartless? Dafuq is a Chirithy gonna do against a Heartless???????
Spoiler1. I think that's the most plausible.
2. But why would she summon us to the future? We would probably oppose her, she would have no use for us. I don't think she will be able to turn us to the Darkness.
3. In BBS we traveled to Enchanted Dominion though, so I don't think it's a Sleeping World.
Well she didn't necessarily "break the bridges". I mean, is Sora & Co. even aware that the Tome of Prophecies exist? Aside from Yen Sid of course. I think she meant it more in the way that no one will find her there, because no one will look there. Because no one knows you can even enter the Tome of Prophecies. Or where the ToP is for that matter.
If she is going to be a main villain again, she probably did learn some new tricks. And I think that she was talking about the ToP when she said "this world".
But if the Player slept outside all that time, how did his body keep up? Shouldn't it be really old now?
Proof that even Nomura starts to think that this time travel business is a bit overcomplicated, so now he made a easy way to time travel. But I don't think Maleficents arrivel will allow the Player to leave, atleast not directly. I think she will be a indirect cause that leads the Player to the discovery that he is actually in a dream.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but she did manage to enter Jiminy Cricket's journal, that was the Datascape, and she did say that that book was the same type of book as the ToP, so technically she already did it once right?
This makes me think, is it possible to bring people from the Datascape or ToP to the real world? Like in KH2 they brought that Munny Pouch from Data TT to the real world.
Maybe she deliberately falls for the trap? Because she want to free everyone from the Dream, not just herself. She is pretty selfless.
Meh, I've always like the original KH villains more.

Right when I think I completely understand the KHX story, Nomura throws this in. My brain hurts.
It's as Maleficent says:
"Yes, considering legend has it the book can also conjure, making an entire world filled with beings and powers that have yet to exist".
It's very probably that Maleficent could fill Enchanted Dominion with beings and powers through the book.

It fell to darkness after Birth by Sleep. When most world were restored at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1, some of them were stuck in the realm of sleep. It's quite possible Enchanted Dominion could be one of them.
After watching that scene from Re:Coded again, a part of it could now make some sense:
Maleficent: "It's finally clear."
Pete: "What's that?"
Maleficent: "Why that world they call the "date escape" seemed so familiar."
Pete: "Huh?"
Maleficent: "A book... known as the ancient Book of Prophecies. It's said to be capable of transcribing events that have yet to take place."
Pete: "No kidding! If we got our mitts on somethin' like that, we could finally take over permanent-like!"
From what she reveals, she knows of the Book of Prophecies. She knows of it's power, which can imply that what we just witnessed in this Special Episode takes place in the past and our current Maleficent has lived through it. What doesn't make sense is that if she has lived through it, where did the book go and why does it sound like she's never seen the book before?

I wasn't expecting this big of a reveal in the secret episode. Was definitely hoping for something connecting the game to KH3, but I never would have expected something this big. The wait for Back Cover & more story in Unchained X is just gonna feel even longer now.

It can imply that this episode took place in the past, but it can also imply that the episode took place after that scene. She did say she is going to look for a connection. She also implies that she knows that that book is connected to the Ancient Keyblade War. So she certainly knows where to look and after some intense investigation she finally found the book and entered it. Leading to the Secret Episode in X Chi.

Didn't you not Watch the Re Coded movie or DDD, she mentioned about the book and even wanted the Data to the world's that was recorded from Jimmy's journal believing it to be the book.

What I'm saying is that I'm interpreting the line differently now that the Short Episode happened.
Before it just seems like she's remembering what she's heard of the Book of Prophecies, but now it could mean something different.
What's the chance Xehanort has the Book of Prophecies and that's how he's going to summon the other Xehanort's to the future?

So does this further prove that the Book of Prophecies is very similar to Jiminy's Journal (and probably other worlds like 100 Acre Wood)? Was the book just another secret that Xehanort told Maleficent (like the seven princesses, the heartless, and the keyholes)? Is she just being used again to find said book/world -like she apparently has-?
It is interesting how Maleficent would even know about the Book of Prophecies to begin with. Maybe it comes from around the same time she got knowledge of Kingdom Hearts when she arrived in Hollow Bastion? I wouldn't be surprised if Ansem the Wise had information regarding it. Besides that, with her wording in that scene it definitely seems likely she may have come across the Book of Prophecies at some point. And she clearly knows how to use it, if that's what's going on in this new secret episode.
Definitely possible considering what is currently known about the book's abilities.
There's also the prospect that there might be 6 instances of the Book of Prophecies in existence. The five copies of the Foretellers and the original of the Master of Masters.
If Maleficent has one and Xehanort has another, who has the other four instances?
Mickey? Yen Sid? Ansem the Wise?

Interesting take on the whole issue, and yes, the parallels to the 100 Acre Wood are also definitely there.
It is possible that she initially learned about it from MX and that this is just her playing "errand girl" for Xehanort again while thinking she's doing it all for her own ambitions.
Don't forget that Yen Sid has that book that details the past, present, and future.

Yup, Yen Sid having another instance of the BoP chances are definitely high.
What somewhat irks me about this is that the "it was all a dream"-ending may just have got more plausibility-points at least for some parts of the whole series.
It is at least one way how to interpret the initial message Chaser posted about the subject...
