BTW.. Bright Blue is supposed to mean Good/ Light.. At least, that's the common theory. Then again, Xaldin has blue eyes and he's obviously not a good guy.. or uses light powers. Point taken.. Bright Blue =/= darkness..

Personally i think their pretty whatever colour they are
blue, green, yellow, purple who cares there pretty

My theory is that the colour of their eyes just depended if it looked good or not, eg yr not gonna give roxas black eyes
cause he supposoly in an evil organisation, Axels eyes wernt red, hello! and heartless who were well evil the whole way through the game had yep YELLOW eyes, and yellow can symbolise happiness u be the judge

guys it really doesn't matter, his blindfold had nothing to do with his eyes being a slightly different shade than in the previous game. it was just a slight difference in the games. End of story.

Um, actually, his blindfold has a lot to do with his eyes changing colour from Aquamarine->Gold. That's the whole reason why he is wearing it...

No, never during either games do they show his eyes turn to yellow. If that were true then his eye would have been yellow when he lifted the blindfold up to look at Xion in the 358/2 Days trailer.

KH1: Turquoise, but blue in the opening.
KH2: Turquoise, but green in the ending.
358/2: Blue.
They just haven't made up their mind, so I stick to his original color: Turquoise.
Kairi's used to be purple in some of the art...wish it would of stayed that way.

I believe it's because of the quality of the video's he's seen in. When you play Kingdom Hearts there are three qualities of viewing
Regular gameplay view-Where characters mouths open and close, eyes blink, and expressions remain the same.
Cutscene view-Where characters mouths actually form words, eyes move in a realistic way and hair moves around rather than stay in a block
Cinematic view-Where everything is animated and done in an a realistic manner, clothiing moves, and facial features are defined extremely well.
While it's true during some cutscenes characters may revert to RGV animation but that was most likely to save time or because the character was a good distance away from camera.
