I love making short little thoughts. Ya know, like a paragraph or two, just regarding a situation. Sweet, short and to the point. Like this:

And he said “I don’t believe in the world.”

“Well, I do.”

“Why? They’re all horrible!”

"Weren't we, once upon a time?"

He smiled, and we parted ways.

My mind. These quotes are my own, and I have in no way taken it form somewhere else.

With that in mind, I have no idea how you've heard that, lol.

Also: There's also many, mayn meanings in these tid-bits of literature that I will post. Namely symbolism. But, again, there are other things within them, and some are in fact just stories. It's up to you to distinguish what is and what is not.

You'll be posting more of these I hope. An interesting window into a world for a brief period of time.

I'll be watching for more of these, the first one looks good.

I awoke. A smile on my face. A hard on like never before. I had just had such an amazing dream, one of romance, sex, and absolute love. You were there with me, and together we just knew each other. We loved each other. We were.

I turned to my side to tell you of this fantastic dream. And then, I remembered, that you had left. And my dreams came crashing down. I don’t think I dreamt again.

Note: This isn't one of those direct ones. ;D

Oh man. Same thing here, I'll think of little short like, scenes in my mind during class or whatever, and I have to write them down, or else I'll forget about them later. xD

Anyways, for small things, the two you've posted are pretty good.

“How many must ‘bite the dust’ before we realize that we can’t really bite the dust?” He asked, furious with the world around him.

“That all depends. How long will it be before we realize that there is no dust?”

"Hotel California"

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
'This could be Heaven or this could be Hell'
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (Any time of year)
You can find it here

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So I called up the Captain,
'Please bring me my wine'
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
'Relax,' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!'

Bloogle.
"I wish to take your hope." said the priest.

"How do you plan to do that?" inquired the non-believer.

"I will make you believe."

Sorry, this thread got me thinking of some so I thought I'd post one or two. Might post more, if that's okay.

I love that song. Honestly. This song has some of the best lyrics ever.

Some come, and some go. But yet, when you think about, we all really stay in the same place. Our positions might change, our thoughts, our ideas, our values, they all might change. We might develop cancer, we might become healthy. We might hurt on the inside, or be happy. Be nice or rude. Be pessimistic or optimistic.

But when you think about it.

It’s all the same.

Time, I like you. You're one of those guys that I always kept my eye on, saw great potential in, and looked at you as the underdog that would overcome many writers on this site. I see your abilities are flourishing now.

Keep this up. I'm really impressed.

Also, lol, "hard on"

Why thanks FoT. I've always written like this, I've just never really cared enough to show what I could do.

Though, I don't find these quotes as great, as there are many books outt here with the same message. But, this was my way of trying to get people to be more aware.

Well then, self expression through writing and literary pieces is a step to expressive our thoughts, feelings and what not. There are plenty of quotes with the same lines and meanings but being able to think and try and create our own quotes/credo is something many do try to achieve for writer's in their works and also humans themselves.

But yes, I'm bored at the moment and was wondering if there was anything you wrote that I could read.

Well, I haven't seen you write like this. It takes some originality to do it. Most are just mindless I-can-write-decently-but-have-no-creativity's. If you get what I mean.

You're one of the few that have control over expressing your message clearly. I couldn't stress enough how many people lack that ability.

Wait a sec is this to Time or to myself or to both of us? Cos isn't that topic to Time and his talent and skills of writing. Haha, of course there are mindless I-can-write-decently-but-have-no-creativity's which makes you wonder to yourself if you can write something of creative and original value. Then after that have you achieved what you wanted? The answer is there is still more to write.

You know, I agree. This writing is great. better than I could ever hope to write, at least for the time being. So, Yes, these "quotes" are great.

I'm just saying to express and hide ultimate messages and meaning in your writing takes an advanced ability that not too many people have. That's all.
