OOC: Um... Morpheaus... AJ.... my partner and the other team guy has not posted in like four days... could we say our team wins by default or something? This is getting really boring...sorry for complaining.

OOC: Sorry for this set back everyone. Yes Malum your team wins be default. For those in the next match, Phoenixgirl is experiencing technical problems. If she doesn't post by 8 tonight, I will play Angel's partner so the match and the tournament can continue.
Um, actually I was wondering if we could re-do the teams. Cause the fact is I won't be here from Tuesday (It's Friday now, where I live ) to Sunday, so I won't be able to post for 5 maybe 6 days, and that would really put my partner in a spot. And battles usually take a couple days to complete, and I don't think we'd be able to finish in 3, 4 days.
Tifa jumped up in surprise, turning her head around to face Eikre. She hadn't even noticed someone else sitting next to her at all, up until now. "Oh, sorry about that, got um... Lost in my thoughts. Im Tifa... Tifa Lockheart, i'm from the Planet.", she replied with a smile and a small nod. "Well, that's my Homeworld at least, i live in Midgar there. If you don't mind me asking, what's your name by the way?", Tifa asked politely, not wanting to see as if she was intruding on privacy or anything of the sort.
ooc: Whoo, I"m sorry for not posting. My computer had crashed recently, and I had to reboot. I'm using another computer in my house though because I'm downloading and installing alot of things on my computer that crashed. (Adobe PS7, Limewire, Netscape, Azureus, yadayadayada)

OOC: Man, I really suck. Anyway the new team line ups will be Tifa Lockhart and Illyria, versus Diclonius, and Mageon. Forgive me for sucking so much lately.

IC: Illiyria's cold blue eyes surveyed her opponents as she approached the portal. They wielded mystical weapons, but beyond that possessed very little physical power. A clash with these weaker beings was almost insulting, and it would also force her to limit how much of her strength she used. "I will end this mercifully," she said in a tone totally berift of emotion. "When this battle is over I hope to face a more capable adversary."
IC: Illiyria's cold blue eyes surveyed her opponents as she approached the portal. They wielded mystical weapons, but beyond that possessed very little physical power. A clash with these weaker beings was almost insulting, and it would also force her to limit how much of her strength she used. "I will end this mercifully," she said in a tone totally berift of emotion. "When this battle is over I hope to face a more capable adversary."

Malum smiled some as he dispersed the attack right as it was going to hit Yusuke. He slowly gave a sigh of relief. He did not want to have to hurt someone that badly. He walked towards the portal, and stopped for a second, making sure that Yusuke and InuYasha were coming along alright.
He stepped through the portal, and smiled to the crowds, nodding a moment, before he stared up at the light source that belonged to this place. (I don't know if it is one sun or two or three or what).
"Katsumei Verigo...Werty, Incantum!" As he said that, the light seemed to fill him from within. He just stood there calmly, as he slowly became as bright as the light. There was an odd humming sound coming from the aura that surrounded him. He slowly let out another sigh as he smiled a bit.
The cuts on his body slowly started to heal, very slowly at first, but growing quicker over the next few seconds. Also, there was an odd sound coming from his left arm, as it slowly moved back into place and healed as well. He winced slightly as he felt a momentary discomfort.
Soon, he was back to one-hundred percent health. He smirked at the golem from earlier. "Thanks for the offer, but if I got that worn out, I could always heal by converting energy. " He nodded his appreciation and went to take his seat in the stands.

Ukiah stood waiting for Malum as he came up from the arena floor. A flicker of a smile crossed his face. "That was impressive, Outcast. I see your knowledge of magic is very deep," said Ukiah in a knowing voice. "I hope you make the finals. That is if you can get past Black," he said with a nod towards the eleven foot golem entering the next portal.

"Vrael, I come from Icewind Dale" he said to Tifa. his ears gave a small twitch. "I think the teams have been changed, you better go up."
"Hm?", Tifa stood up quickly and rubbed the back of her head nervously at hearing this. "Opps, didn't hear that. Heheh, well, it was nice meeting you, Vrael. Hope to talk to you again later on then.", she said, giving another smile before running off in a blur of black, having had casted a small Haste spell on herself.
Soon enough she had made it over to the portal, that little run not having tired her a bit at all, "Sorry about that.", she said, noding her head faintly. 'Wonder who Illiryia is...', she thought to herself silently.

"Hmmm.....I guess by the look of that person's face, she thinks that I am a weakling. She should not judge people by the way that their weapon's power's appears at firsthand. They shouldn't judge the person at all. I guess we have to wait for that Tifa girl to hurry up and come up here, to start the match, I'm anticipating," said Mageon to himself in his head and with a smirk;
Angel stepped out of the portal slightly annoyed and walked back to her corner, scattering and startling a few weaklings along the way.
"Opponents will do battle within the boundaries of the city of New York," Ukiah's voice boomed through the arena. "Anything you can see or touch may be used as a weapon, but do not harm any civilians. Charms have been placed on them that shall cause them to see none of your or your attacks."
The large display in the center of the arena changed suddenly. An aerial view of New York city came into view. "As before Mr. Brand, Mr Black and a third golem will be their to escort injured and defeated opponents off the battle field. Let the match begin!"

Malum smiled a little as he watched Ukiah for a moment and then Black as he entered that portal. He nodded to Ukiah once more before he went and took a seat, getting comfortable and letting his body relax as he sighed slightly. "I think I will do quite well against Mr. Black, maybe not win, but that is not the point here... the point is to have fun and make friends.."
OOC: My apologies Malum and everyone else, my ethernet card literally broke.... somehow to which I still don't understand and I had to wait to get paid from work before buying a new one.

Tifa let out a small gasp as the scene changed to that of New York, reminding her just a little of Midgar back home. Her left hand rose up in front of her, her right hand pulling down the glove covering her hand, doing the same to the other as she adjusted them tightly. The look on her face now one of determination, glancing quickly around at the civilians, making a mental note to herself as to be as careful as she could with the range of her attacks. Though there wasn't much of a area of effect to her attacks, she still didn't want to risk it. "Let's get this started then.", Tifa said quietly, her right foot grinding against the ground for a moment to get her battle pose ready.
