I asked you this question because you said that Terra picked up the KKD, but if that is true, then it totally defeats the purpose of that scene. That is, unless you know something I don't and can tell me what the scene means.

I think we missunderstand each other... (damn third time in 2 months, is my English that bad?). I thought it was confirmed last page and in the trailer that Terra picked up the Kingdom D Keyblade. And apparently the purpose of that scene was to foreshadow where the three of them end up and the end of the game, you said so yourself. So Kingdom Key D with Terra, foreshadowing the RoD. Wait what? O hold on, I think I know where I went wrong. Aqua picked up the KKD. Sorry my bad, my bad. Misread that. Yeah, totally get your confsuion, sorry. Aqua picks up the KKD.

The blades are allusions to the three's respective fates: Terra holds the KK and ends his story in the RoL, Aqua holds the KKD and ends up in the RoD, Ventus holds the Way to Dawn and ends up in the Realm of In-between.

But they didn't get saved in BBS, why would a BBS intro scene sho symbolism of something not in BBS?

The theory was originally about Ephemera's Keyblade turning into the Kingdom Key.

Actually this thread is still about the thought that "all Keyblades used to be Starlight".

And I've watched that Third Kingdom Key video (till the point that guy started to talk about it's potential wielders), the theory isn't that bad actually.

He basically thinks that the Third Kingdom Key is the Masterkeeper, and the reason why it doesn't have the traditional Kingdom Key look is because it has a Keychain attached to it.

I am a confusing person, and I am only active on this section because KHIII does not align with the two theories I've done prior.

Is it so coincidental to you that there are two KKs? The only KKs? There is no other one. That is the KKD.

The KK that Aqua picked up definitely didn't pick up the KKD. The design was different and the blade wasn't golden. Check the BBS animation and look at it closely

Does it matter at all? That scene isn't even canon. It's like someone whining because someone said wonderland was the first world in kingdom hearts 358/2 days magical puzzle clash. It's completely pointless and inconsequential to the overall plot.
