Lucas Saint said:Name: Lucas
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Lucas has shoulder-length, snow white hair which is parted down the middle, though somewhat unruly. His eyes are slate-grey, and his pupils take the form of four-point stars. His skin is slightly tan, though not dark. He is fairly muscular, but streamlined and sleek, and stands about half a head above average height.
Attire: He wears a white wrapping as a scarf, which trails down his back and is looped over his right arm. It covers his left shoulder, and is emblazoned with the insignia of a cross. A second wrapping forms a ‘skirt’ covering his lower body to the knees, under which he wears white cloth pants for freedom of movement, and combat boots. Often the scarf is also wrapped around his face, obscuring all but his eyes from view.
Personality:
Lucas is a confused indiviual. He was created artificially, made to be stronger, faster, better then humans, yet he was made from their biological structure, and so he shares their many flaws. Strong opposing desires conflict within him: To embrace his humanity and be more real then an experiment gone wrong, and to destroy all mankind in his hate of the flaws passed down to him. He is equal part virtue, equal part sin. He is equally nonviolent and bloodthirsty. He just wants to be left alone yet he seeks out the most powerful enemies he can find. Duality, it seems, is part of his very essence.
Body:
Lucas' body is notably different to a human. For starters, it includes a third lung linked to the main pair, for storage of excess oxygen. This lung is collapsible, and valve-controlled branchways extend through his arms and legs, ensuring immediate access to his stored supply by any part of the body. This lung is connected to the skin through the sweat pore system, using specialised pores referred to as 'Stoma'. These Stoma can both take in, and expel oxygen. Additionally, he has the ability to use photosynthesis, taking in energy from sunlight, and using it to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen.
His shoulders and neck contain organs known as Electrocytes, electricity producing organs. Using these he can run electric currents through his brain in order to force-fire synapses, augmenting his sensory input far beyond human parameters. However, this causes irreperable damage to his brain cells, causing them to die off. After using this, he will share many of the effects of a night binge-drinking: Disorientation, loss of balance, loss of direction, vomiting, extreme headaches, ect. unless sustained through another synapse.
Abilities:
Draw Breath
Lucas can take in oxygen through his sweat pores whilst moving, storing it in his bloodstream for later use. A large variety of his more powerful moves require an abundance of stored oxygen to use.
Ariel Swim
By expelling oxygen from his body at a calculated rate, via his sweat pores, Lucas can hover or levitate in mid-air, however, this requires constant use of his Draw Breath ability to sustain, thus he must be in constant motion to remain airborne.
Ariel Fade
Lucas can move at extremely high speeds, a ghostly, translucent afterimage of himself following his movements. This afterimage is actually a partial vacuume, left behind as Lucas takes in all oxygen nearby to eliminate a path of friction. Ariel Fade movement is often used as the first part of his finishing moves, allowing him to take in enough oxygen to release for the finishing blow.
Techniques
Determined Drive
A physical combat technique developed by Lucas, it is a combination of moves. If the first attack hits, the rest of the combo is completely unavoidable. The first attack is designed to launch the enemy into the air, often preceeded by a movement designed to throw the enemy off balance or distract them. Following the first hit, the rest of the combo takes place whilst airborne. While the movements themselves are interchangable and can be varied, each attack sets the opponant in position for the following one, and each attack sends them higher into the air. The number of moves is indefinate so long as Lucas can keep himself and the enemy in mid air, and is thus a battle of momentum against gravity to allow the maximum number of attacks before both combatants are pulled back to earth. Once gravity takes hold, Lucas uses it to position the enemy for him to unleash a finishing move against, often involving the release of the oxygen stored during the combo.
Grand Cross
Lucas’ signature move, he releases oxygen from his body in the shape of a cross, slamming it against the enemy. The air is supercompressed and is moving at unbelievable speeds, resulting in the force and power of a tornado compressed into the same space as a human body. It literally shreds it’s way through anything it comes into contact with. The Grand Cross is notorious for cleanly slicing the hapless target into neat quarters.
True Cross
The most powerful form of Grand Cross, rather then releasing the technique at range, Lucas dashes directly towards the enemy and performs a palm attack to their chest, unleashing the Cross from his palm into their body at point-blank range.
