Yes, there was suppose to be. As revealed in a PR by Marvel, though I didn't see it.

Now, did you get an all new trailer, or just the old one? Cause here in Texas we didn't get a new trailer, just the old that's been seen everywhere. Or maybe I just went and saw it at a bad time. lol
Eddie Brock isn't Sandman. Flint Marko, played by Thomas Hayden Church, is Sandman. Casting proves this, as do the trailers. Eddie Brock is played by Topher Grace and IS Venom. P.S whats xmen united? just an extended version of one of the movies?
Sorry but no. Compared to Ghost Rider, The Punisher was a far better movie. The Punisher wasn't good at all. And it bent around a few things. It was just such a terrible film. I rate Ghost Rider above it. And you can't just follow basic elements, sure it was a stupid ploy and brought on by the director, but of all the things that are bad about this film, that scene was not one of them. His fire is covering his skull body, trying to argue that is silly.
About Cage as an actor, that debate is pointless, people will hate him and people will love him. His acting in Ghost Rider should be discussed as that point does merit discussion.
Now about the goth chick, I do. In the film it was cheap, some things are just REALLY BAD, even if you know who it is. That's a bad excuse.
Spoiler ShowMy major gripe with this movie was Blackheart and his
minions. They ruined Blackheart. They turned a completely
awesome badass demon into an Emo Kid with Daddy issues. I
didn't even know who he was at first. I didn't realize that guy was
supposed to be Blackheart until the end of the bar scene. He
looked closer to the Blackheart when he became legion, but even
then I wasn't very impressed. I would've rathered that they used
his actual comic book appearance. Granted, it probably would've
looked hokey, and there's no way Ghost Rider could've grabbed
him for the Penance Stare, but who cares? He was only in the
movie for about five minutes (The "Legion" character, I mean, not
Blackheart).
And don't get me started on his minions. They were completely
useless. They did a few moves, didn't hurt Ghost Rider at all, and
then got destroyed. What a waste of screen time. I would've
rather have some backstory about Blackheart, or Mephisto (I
WILL NOT call him Mephstopheles), or even the other Riders.
Anything but the waste of time and space that was The Hidden.
