This is in the bible. *sigh* I don't feel like looking for it right now, I'll ask my dad tomorrow or somethin.

Please quote it from your bible the next time you feel like bringing it up, because I find it painstakingly annoying when people loosely quote a religious scripture from their memory.

I feel there's no difference listening to a stranger over the internet about faith and religion, as to a gospel of texts that may just be a load of mere stories. I know you can't compare science to religion, so I merely treat religion as study.

Aren't we discussing this subject using the Bible as a norm itself, to find out what it actually was that Jesus said concerning this subject, according to the Bible? In general you may think the Bible is just a load of mere stories, but when basing a discussion on the Bible itself, you aren't assuming that it's a load of crap, you're assuming that it's fact. You're using the Bible as a basis of your argument.

According to the Bible Jesus said this and that, hence he does or does not think that lust is sinful.

Oh don't get me wrong I enjoy discussing about many religions, it's just that after all of the debating about cetain religious topics, you start to question religion it'self, sorry Ryu.

.. and that has to do with this, how? I am simply asking him to quote the Bible, whether you think the Bible is crap or not.

Sorry you've got it wrong,
I was speaking in third person when I said "Oh don't get me wrong I enjoy discussing about many religions, it's just that after all of the debating about cetain religious topics, you start to question religion it'self, sorry Ryu." I was stating that I got ahead of myself in the religious aspects of this topic.

Masturbating for me stopped on a moral level, before I even got interested in religion. I don't get how you could derive me being honest as an attempt to be noble.

And this morality comes from where? And what does it accomplish? Like I said, your seed dies anyway. The only difference is, you may get cancer. But whatever makes you happy.

You may get cancer anyway. We all may get cancer.

..Masturbation doesn't give you cancer. It prevents prostate cancer. <.<

Anyway, I see nothing wrong with it myself. Have I masturbated? I'll be open with you, yes, I have. I see no reason to keep it to myself, but if you do, fine. (This is the internet after all, so I really see no reason to keep it private.)

The Bible does not say masturbation is wrong. Trust me, I'd know. Lust, however, is wrong, which some interpret to mean you cannot have fantasies, watch porn, ect. I tried asking my preacher about it one time, in a Q&A, and he said "The Bible says lust is wrong!" I replied, "But what it you aren't lusting after another, but merely focusing on the pleasure?" He didn't answer me, but rather ignore my question. So perhaps lusting after another is wrong for some, but masterbation is not.
