Near the end of the game, there was a secret map in which you would fight Riku once more in the End of the World, created to look like the interior of the island. It was 90% completed before it was scrapped.

This. Or they should have just added this in. :c I would have loved to fight Riku one more time on their home world as a sort of full-circle thing.

yea fighting dark side was really un called for in the last battle if any thing they should have added the riku battle/ or have yo u face x2-x3 dark sides at once

The Darkside battle was just random, but it also brought things full-circle. What would have been the lead-in to the Riku battle.

You can never have too many Riku battles! This just a personal opinion, but I've also found his battles amongst the most enjoyable, even if it causes me to die many times.

This single bit of news sounds all too awesome! This would be cool if they decide to add this is some sort HD remake. By the way the vid looked like it was in HD and very beautiful!

That was by far one of the most interesting things i've learned about KH but now it just makes me sad
I have to admit though
The Riku fight at Hollow Bastion was pretty amazing...even though I've probably died enough times and had to rewatch the scene all over again enough to recite half the script >_>

I'm actually interested in what the dialogue before/after the fight would be

That sucks. It would've been interesting and as other people mentioned, sort of made a full circle. Friendlily fighting Riku with wooden swords at the beginning, then fighting him full on and seriously with keyblades at the end. ;A;

Would've been so gooood.~

This is such a tragedy! Riku was my favorite battle, and his use of the POH Keyblade would have been a very interesting addition to the story... and dayum. That map is cool

even though it was 90% done it looked like it was out of place and unnecessary. not to mention it looked like the easiest Riku fight in the game. I mean being able to climb the walls to higher floors to escape just seems way to easy and a cheap way to win. so i think it was a good idea to scrap it.

That was a hack that somebody made. That wouldn't have been the Riku fought.

Since we don't know how Riku would have fought in the area, we can't assume the area was made to be cheap.

Iono, I find them fun to play. They're a nice challenge and are always accompanied with kick-ass music :3

WTF seriosly freaky, I turn on the Dive in to Heart EXTENDED version on Youtube, and a few minutes into the song pages just begin to close and my computer just suddenly shuts off (O_O) I'm seriosly freaked out!!!
