Note: This story is just a theory. So if you disagree with this, don't start cussing me out.

*Part 1: The Beginning*
In the beginning, there were 4 Chasers. Each Chaser created their own Keyblade. The Keyblade had the power to create, destroy, or rewrite(edit). For a few years there was peace. Then the Chasers began to separate. 2 Chasers journeyed toward the power of light. The other 2 Chasers journeyed toward the power of darkness. The War of the Keyblades began. Then one of the Dark Chasers regretted joining the darkness. He was forgiven and began his journey toward the power of light(just like Riku). The other Dark Chaser, Xehanort, rose up his dark army and warred against the Chasers of Light. The 3 Chasers of light destroyed Xehanort. As consequences for his defeat, Xehanort's memories were wiped out when he was reborn again in Radiant Garden and taken under Ansem's wing.

*Part 2: The Chasers Reborn*
The Chasers were reborn again and again. They had to train and hone their skills because one day Xehanort would return. They all knew that soon the Final War of the Keyblades would come. So 3 Chasers were chosen each generation to fight off the darkness.

ur theory would then make the chasers be the keyblade wielders, its very possible the the word 'chasers' could be the name given 2 the keyblade wielders..

Sorry for the delay. Anyways, here's part 3 and part 4!

*Part 3: The Present Keybearers*
The Keyblades were finally passed on to our present generation: Sora, Riku, and King Mickey. Together they fought the darkness. However, Xehanort was reborn and taken under Ansem's wing. Ansem tried countless experiments to revive Xehanort's memories, but he failed. Then Ansem's apprentices: Xehanort, Braig, Dilan, Even, Eleaus, and Ienzo rebelled against Ansem. They stole his pride and continued the research where Ansem never dared to go. The six apprentices were nearly able to obtain the knowledge of the Chasers and Kingdom Hearts, but a terrible experiment split them into Heartless and Nobodies. The Heartless remained in their human form, but were planning to bring out their own plans. The Nobodies were passed on the knowledge of the Chasers and created Organization XIII. Xehanort's Heartless, also called Ansem, Seeker of Darkness was destroyed by Sora. About a year later, Xemnas and Organization XIII were destroyed by Sora as well. This only set the stage for the Final War of the Keyblades...

Read Part 4!

*Part 4: The Final War of the Keyblades*
Xehanort is once more reborn, this time with his full memory. The reason that he was not permanently destroyed before was because he was split into a Heartless and a Nobody, so he couldn't reobtain his memories, thus he could not resume his role as the Dark Chaser. However, this time he does resume his role as the Dark Chaser, and uses his dark Keyblade to summon his dark army. He is able locate his old servants: Braig, Dilan, Even, Eleaus, and Ienzo. They are in their Heartless forms, yet powerful. Xehanort, the Dark Chaser, is completely whole. The Keyblades pass on to the next generation of Light Chasers. They realize their role to defeat Xehanort, and the Final War of the Keyblades begins. Xehanort is much more powerful than before. Xehanort only has one goal: to destroy the 3 Light Chasers so he can be the only Chaser(Keybearer). If he succeeds, Xehanort will be able to rule all the worlds in darkness...

*The End*

Tell me what you think!

You do know that this is actually a fan fiction. Not a theory right?

fan fiction: a fictional account written by a fan of a show, movie, book, or video game to explore themes and ideas that will not or cannot be explored via the originating medium; also written fan fiction, also called fanfic

theory: An assumption based on information or knowledge

Your theory is more along the lines of fan fiction. If you want to present a theory I suggest finding another way in presenting it and the facts, rather then a story.

Alright, GTX, I got facts to help verify my theory.
1:Right before you fight Xigbar, in the movie Xigbar states, "But, boy did the Keyblade pick a dud this time." Xigbar knows about the other Keyblade Avatars(Chasers), thus a long line of Keybearers did come before Sora, and who knows, maybe even after Sora?
2:The "Lost Two" could be referring to Xehanort's Heartless and Xehanort's Nobody, Xemnas. The Dark Chaser could not resume his role if they were not combined.

uh just so you know only ONE keyblade master caused chaos and peace not 4 spliting up to do those things. and if they are training to fight xehanort again then didn't they just destroyed him instead of letting him live.

My theory is that:

Just like in CoM, when Diz told Riku to choose the road to darkness or light, and riku chose dawn(which means the other road to Castle Oblivion was Twilight, makes sense), the crossroads in the preview showed 3 keybladers and 1 person coming from one of the roads. I think that the 3 keybladers came from the road of light, dawn and twilight, and the man that was coming was the keyblader of darkness(like riku). And the chasers are the people who desire the light and the keyblade, which explains all those other keyblades, which also explains the keyblade war. I also think Xehanort is a chaser, having a powerful keyblade(maybe even the dark keyblader). Thet's my theory.

Correct. One came from the road to light, another one from the road to twilight, another from the road to dawn, and the shadowy figure from the road to darkness.
