1) if you're wearing glasses and it's hurting you, it's a matter of constriction. Get something thats about 8-10 inches across and sit the headphones (opened) over it for a few hours. Keep doing it longer if it still hurts.
2) if you have a coiled cord, you can do what i do, which is nest the loops together to form a double-coil. think about it like a zig-zag fitting into place with a zigzag. split the coiled part in half, fold it, and press it together.
hope that helps. i dont have issues with my glasses anymore or the length. if anything, your head will get used to the pain of the glasses pressing against your head.
