Doesn't look stupid because the space isn't noticeable (unless quoted). For example;

You can't see the huge amount of space left between the word and period.
Know, that requires filters and the 25 char limit bypass is legal. The "bypass" is to actually keep the space bar tapped between characters or words. Like this:
Hi,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. (Imagine that the commas are empty space).
You could say that. Trollage has been reduced (at least a bit), but after people found out about the bypass... Well, everyone just thought that even the Staff were saved from it, but no, it's everyone or no one.
I joined back about three years ago (when I was Miles Edgeworth and Cavita_Zero). Back then, the character limit wasn't present. At much, it was established a couple of months after I joined because trolls were posting things that didn't contribute naught to a KH discussion.
