Some Final Fantasy spin-offs are met with acclaim, and others are balked at, with a varying degree of sentiments in-between. These titles extend the franchise nearly as much as the main series, and are a great source of revenue from a fanbase especially with the production costs of HD-console videogames rising to new heights.
