Could Yen Sid be searching for Aqua and the Chamber of Awakening?

In Kingdom Hearts II, when Maleficent and the raven appeared in his tower, Yen Sid and the three fairies fled, and you never saw them again. Even later in the game, his tower remained empty.

Now, Yen Sid was with Aqua and Mickey when they brought Ven to his tower to keep safe, before Ven was moved to the Chamber of Awakening.

11 passed between the ending of BBS and when Yen Sid left his tower and was never seen again. Now, if Yen Sid did remain in contact with Mickey, and is as intelligent as he is, he could possibly be aware that now that both the nobody and heartless have been defeated, he could possibly be aware that Master Xehanort would have a strong chance of returning to full power.

Being that he had recieved no word of Aqua in the 11 years, could it be possible he went to search for Aqua, and thus, to find Ven?

Well, if they were with Yen Sid when he resided in his tower, where would they go once he left? It most likely means they are still either with him, or managed to return to Aurora and the Enchanted Dominion again

Which I never understood why they were never there in the first place. The world was restored, wasn't it?

im confused he may of left but we dont know were he went
its more likly he returned after knowing the faire were safly returned home
his powere is too gret to fear nobodies

Yeah, but because Ansem the SoD and Xemnas were both destroyed, that gives the chance for the true Xehanort to return. His power would rival Yen sid's, both being masters.

It should be restored since in KH1 she was there as a princess. Which also means that the fairies most likely decided to return to the world to keep Maleficent away.

Also, that could explain what happened to her in KH2.

What I mean is, when all of the worlds were restored in KH, the princess and everyone aside from Sora, Donald, Goofy, and the duo in Kingdom Hearts returns to their homes. Why didn't the Fairies?

Did Yen Sid need them for something?

They were most likely helping him watch over Sora as well as forming the drives that he uses in some way.
