Those scenes were confirmed to take place when Sora was born, but here are some things that I dont get.

Ven is either 14 or 15, so in these scenes he is 10 or 11 since in BbS Sora is 4... why the hell do Ven and Vanitas still look and sound 14/15?! And why does MX have a 10/11 year old apprentice?! Is Nomura that lazy? This has to be the stupidest thing I have seen in KH yet.

a reasonable explanation to a stupid question is not important.

do we even know ven's true age? he's connected to sora's heart, for all we know he might have suppose to look even older, but connected to such a young hgeart, gave him a younger appearance. same for vanitas, though really, he is the embodiment of darkness, and his darkness was greater than ven's light.

as for masters having young apprentices? seriosuly, what would you gain by me answering that?

In BbS Sora is 4, and since Ven is identicle to Roxas, he should be the same age too, which is 15.
So if that scene was when Sora was born, it would be 4 years before BbS, making Ven 11.

you're not giving fact, it's just an assumption. think it through. do you have absolute proof ven was 11 during the time?

for all we know ven could've been 14 by the time sora was born (not 11), and as ven got older, he didn't age due to the connection of sora.

and to explain further, sora was a baby, and his age could've affected ven's appearance just as vanitas appearance was affected due to sora.

another explain could be that the hearts with pure light or darkness dont age. have you seen the seven princesses of heart?

not so sure why she ages, though i theorize that they age up to a certain point.

either way, there are many reasonable explanations, none of them are fact yet. the BBS ultimania could possibly explain more on that.

You have a point. The logic makes sense, and although we don't know Ventus's exact age in BBS, he should look younger in the intro and the flashbacks.

The PoH have proved that hearts of pure light can age.

Having Soras young heart could have affected his age like you said, since the heart shapes the body.
