PDP, the company known for creating a wire variety of accessories for video game consoles like the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, is busy with making Kingdom Hearts merchandise as the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 draws closer. Alongside the prop replica Keyblade releasing later on this year, PDP will be adding Sora to their Pixel Pals line this October.

This upcoming Pixel Pals Sora is based on his Kingdom Hearts 3 design and only costs $14.99. Preorder Sora on Amazon or GameStop right now before October 1st rolls around.

You can view images of Pixel Pals Sora and read the product description below:

Light up your world with Pixel Pals; collectible pixel-art renditions of your favorite iconic characters! We want you to show off what you love and shine bright with Pixel Pals. Pop in a couple AAA batteries* and you're all set.

As the brave protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series, Sora is heroic, loyal, and optimistic. Originally from Destiny Islands, Sora travels far and wide to protect the Realm of Light against the heartless. Sora is armed with the Keyblade and is accompanied by Donald and Goofy on his quest to restore peace. *Batteries not included

No? This is literally a line of pixel lights. They've been around for years.

I think he’s just saying this is kind of what the original concept might have been like based on this comment.

Nomura: Yes. At one point, there was a time when they were going to look like pixel characters. Like pixel art made 3D.

Probably still would have been pretty different though as he would have his typical dimensions, but this probably the closest we’ll ever get to seeing that kind of idea as it is pixel art. This is probably more like if Sora was in a 2D side scroller. (Give me a Fix-It Felix minigame, Nomura, please! Lol)

That’s what I meant. I know it’s a thing that’s been around. I meant how Nomura states that the original idea was a 3D pixel design.

That's adorable, though it's hard to tell how bright it lights up from those images.

I remember always seeing this brand when I'd walk into GameStop. Now we have ourselves a KH3 Sora which will probably make me consider getting this.

One step closer to realizing a penultimate dream: Final Fantasy Pixel Pals! I would LOVE 8-Bit ones of the Warrior, Thief, White Mage and Black Mage, and 16-Bit Heroes like Cecil, Bartz, Terra, and even Noctis! I have a Sonic the Hedgehog Pixel Pal sitting in my bookshelf, right now.

Sign bought me a Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank Pixel Pal last December and in a dark room it's REALLY bright. I use it as a nightlight sometimes because there's no powerpoint near my bedside table so I can't have my lamp connected.
