Wierd Language

I don't know if you guys noticed this, but in KH1 and KH2, if you look at buildings they will often have neon signs with strange letters on them. In Twilight Town, almost everything in the world is written in this strange language, and the same is true for TWTNW and Traverse Town. However, the actual characters themselves speak English/Japanese.

What do you guys make of this?

Umm... Heartless language? Lol. Probablly not. Maybe it's just the Arcitech's Designs. I've seen Designs like that before.Lol.

Have you not noticed that very few games use real language characters in the designs? This isn't anything special.

Because if they didn't speak the language of the country you're in, then you wouldn't understand what's going on =\ it's like an unwritten rule of video gaming, the world that you're playing in may speak an entire alien language, but to you they're speaking English because they have to speak English <.< but in their world instead of saying "To the castle!" they may be saying "Fglargbagligltrub!"

The Legend of Zelda's world is entirely in Hylian, the signs and such and town, and everyone speaks Hylian, but to you they're speaking English..because they have to =\

It's like the beginning of Metal Gear Solid 3; they are actually supposed to be speaking Russian, but they didn't want to caption the whole thing.

First of all, we KNOW they aren't speaking some strange language because they interact with Disney characters, who only speak real-world languages.

If Sora and the lot can communicate with Disney characters, it proves they're just speaking a normal language, while WRITING in a different one. That's my point of interest.

Also, I'm not "looking too much into things". That is what people who write novel-sized theories do. I'm just showing interest.

It's an in-game language.

It's what they speak where they are. Kind of like Japanese people speaking Japanese. The game has a universal writing system. That only they can understand.

But of course they have to speak english so you can play, right? They don't actually speak english. They speak their language, and the language is universal.

Because, if they put Japanese writing they would have to change the game textures to English writing when they put it in English, so they make something up.
Also, was TMM would also apply to Disney worlds.
