The current player limit is 10 max.

I only have ONE rule: No 'f' word.
(Automatic ban.)
The game already has enough as it is..

Anywho, I just got done with the webadmin system..
Meaning: For the first time, ever.. the UT server will have four different types of users.
A. Players: GameSecurity: 0 WebAdminSecurity: 0
(Anyone that connects is automatically set to level 0, until they log into the UT system through the UT console.)
B. Mod: GameSecurity: 1 WebAdminSecurity: 1
Has the following abilities:
1. Ban Players
2. Kick Players
3. Map Changes.
C. AdminLimited: GameSecurity: 2 WebAdminSecurity: 2
1. Ban Players
2. Kick Players
3. Manage Bots
4. Summon Items
5. Users Manager
6. Maps Changing
7. Summon Items
D. 'MasterAdmin': GameSecurity: 255 WebAdminSecurity: 255
1. Can modify ANY item through the webadmin system.. And also the UT console.
Has almost complete control of the UT server.
**E. MasterServerAdmin: GameSecurity: 999 WebAdminSecurity 999
(Has complete control of the UT server, even has FTP & Web-reset access..)

The way it works:
The higher the security level, the more you can do.
Mods have the power to ban anyone that is lower than security level 1.
(IE Players.)
Therefore, mods cannot ban admin(limited).. and thus admin(limited) cannot ban masteradmins...

I will NOT tolerate 'mods' banning an admin that just joined the game.
(Who would have security level 0, until they logged in.)
If I find out this has happened, or anything else, for that matter.. yea.. o.o
(These rules also apply for masteradmins, unless they are fixing a problem, or taking care of an abusive mod/adminlimited...)

I might redownload this. Get in practise before Flare returns, as I'm sure she'll be happy to play with all of us again. She moaned to me last time it was taken down.

(Believe me - you NEED practise before you face Flare. Unless you're a Queen, then she gets pwned. :3)

I remember she downloaded a Lara Croft skin and I downloaded a Red Power Ranger / Yellow Chicken skin. They didn't show to anyone else but ourselves, though. Figured the skins had to be installed on the server for that to happen.

Well.. as soon as I can get the VH mod up... then YES.

You should be able to use pretty much ANY type of skin.
(As long as it conforms to one of the server's meshes, any skin will work. A mesh is the 'wireframe' of the model. So if it's a skin for the 'Male/Female Soldier' that changes the costume to a power rangers outfit, it'll work. But if it uses a different mesh, then the skin won't show up on the server.)
You will also be able to use 'voice packs' on the server.

Niether of which have to be configured on the server to use. ^.^

Only two rules:
Skins: ABSOLUTELY NO 'GRAPHICAL' skins. (Perm Ban.)
Voicepacks: Swearings is allowed, but keep them to a minimum.
(Or alternatively, turn off 'autotaunt' in your options menu.)

MapVote will come after VH.

I can't get the download to work. When I try to install it, it says the source is bad. I don't know what that means. Help please?

No, to the thread.
(I'll try to get a site up for this.. sometime.)

As for the bad file, try redownloading it. I think it messed up whilest you were downloading it. This sometimes happens.

No.. in order to do so, you need access to:
1. The FTP server for UT..
2. The necessary UT Server files.. (Which are critical to the server.)
3. The knowledge needed to edit these files.
4. The location which to PUT the files.. (Can't just place 'em anywhere.. -.-)

Just make sure the skin is compatible with 'UT '99 Meshes' and there shouldn't be a problem.

I might get the nali/skaarj/naliwarcow meshes on the server.

Azu, can you upload the file onto the FTP as a .zip file? Whenever I try install the .rar UT file with Winrar it doesn't work. If you can do it, it will be a big help.

EDIT: I finally got it to install, but when I try to run it , it says I have a "general protection fault". This is really pissing me off. If you want to know the exact error here it is.

Exactly... that's because the server isn't currently running. -.-
(Working on getting mapvote up.. then everything should be good to go. ^.^)

As it stands now, the 'cow' skins are banned from the server.
(It is too hard to actually get a headshot on the cow skin, which makes it unfair to most players.)
