This is just to see if anybody has any ideas I should add to the setting or anything else. Any ideas you could give me would be great.
This RP is loosely FF based, in the way of going through a land and kicking butt. So just the general idea of Final Fantasy.
Settings:
A savage, war swept area called the Junk Land. The area is mostly desert with small villages and towns scattered throughout. These towns are where the Outcasts live (races will be lower down) and is far enough away from the Capitol to be out of the reach of the Blitzkreig, which is the ruler of the main continent.
Capitol City, the main city on the continent. Buildings that can get up to over 1000 feet tall, monorails that stretch the full 367 000 square kilometers around the city. This city is home to the Humans and also some of the Drow. The Drow are mostly used as slaves but some also lead a gigantic rebellion called the Faction. The Blitzkreig lives in the giant Citadel in the exact center of the city.
Deep underwater on the bottom of the ocean lies Oceanica. The underwater city is home to the Merpeople and also some elves that have adapted from the land. The city has its own rulers and is not a part of the Blitzkreig's Empire. In fact, most people don't even now it exists. The city is expansive, covering nearly the entire ocean floor but is smaller now than 1000 years ago when it was part of the Empire.
Finally we reach the second continent on the planet. It doesn't have a real name but is called by many Speratis. This continent is mostly inhabited by Elves, but has a small human population as well as having some Hubrids. Although the continent's entire area is just roughly bigger than Capitol City's it has the most extensive research laboratory on the planet and is home to the best scientists.
Races:
Humans - Pretty self-explanatory, average hunters, fighters and warriors, this race is the easiest race to choose as it will mostly stay in the city unless it lives on Speratis.
Drow - This race looks quite similar to Elves but are generally darker haired as well as having a darker skin tone and being quite a bit taller. There only real fault is they are horrid warriors, used mostly for brawls and hunting.
Elves - They are fair haired and usually pale compared to humans, these creatures are the best warriors and hunters but are dreadful when it comes to fistcuffs and brawls. Taller than humans they live in Oceanica and Speratis with a small population on the continent.
Outcasts - This race is not a race so much as a group that wa thrown out of the Capitol after the Continental War. They are generally human but can also be elves, drow and even hubrids. Good fighters and warriors but not so great at hunting.
Merpeople - Inhabiting Oceanica, these half human, half fish beings enjoy the solitarity of being below the surface of the ocean. They are among the few beings that are only capable of living underwater not being able to breathe above the water level. Good hunters and warriors, horrible fighters.
Hubrids - Hubrids are a fairly new race that are a mixture of Human and one of the other land-based races. They contain traits from the dominant race, aka the matriarcal side of the family tree. Overall good hunters, others depend on dominant race.
The rules are like normal RP rules with the exception of being able to change race once you reach a certain place. I will tell you via PM when you reach that point in the game.
