The world so dark and cold,
Everything drained of color...
The sun sets on yet another waisted day
Like skeletons we walk the earth
Shakes like earthquakes run through our bodies
as tears like rain storms run down our faces.
Raging winds of change that push us...
into the eye of the storm,
where nothing,
Nothing feels right.
The scars that storms brutally leave,
never fade...yet stay in painful color.
Crashes of thunderous screams ring down the street,
as memories flash like lightning
A new beginning blossoms like a flower in the spring,
but quickly wilts with lack of life's gracing light
Like a million stars we share the sky
yet only make up one
all alike in matter
and as trees we grow...
but only as strong as our roots
and by the fears that hold us back
we are cut down.
