And you don't seem to notice that it was presented to have him impeached? He of course only has months left within his presidency, therefore impeachment is a little late to be considered and therefore cannot be dwelled upon when it will provide no solvency to the matter.

Last time I checked, 2 years isn't a few months.

The reason that presentation gained no ground was because it was presented to a Republican Majority. The tables have turned now that Democrats control Congress.

Also, Clinton was brought for impeachment in his last 2 years as President. He was impeached for lying about a blowjob. Bush's lie has had more dire consequences.

I'm sorry, I thought this was the end of his presidency this year. Unfortunately I was misinformed.

Saddam didnt deserve to die, they basically captured him and killed him for ruling his own country. Saddam has commited crimes no worse than what bush or any other president before him involved in any conflict or war has period.

Bush uses mustard gas to commit genocide, in order to secure his own standing? Bush has assassinated his own family? Never knew that.

The point of Communism is not to establish a dictatorship, its just the Communist dictators you do see have yet to take the final step in creating a true Communist sate. That is, getting rid of the dictator.

Technically, communism is only economic equality. Social equality and governmental equality falls into Socialism.

I'm sorry, I thought this was the end of his presidency this year. Unfortunately I was misinformed.

Not American?

Bush has committed the crime of perjury, that is, lying in order to get the people rallied behind him to invade Iraq in 2003. That crime alone is enough grounds for impeachment.

People assume that Bush was lying, but he had CIA intel to suggest WMDs did exist in Iraq, (but of course it's so much easier to slap the blame on a single man!) and not only that, but provided Saddam plenty of time to prove him wrong. Saddam sacraficed the wellbeing of his country for what gain?

We never found weapons of MASS destruction. The only weapons we did find were obsolete cansiters of chemicals, that had no merit when it came to causing mass destruction.

An d what does that have to do with the US?

Bush sacrificed his soldiers for what gain? Even if Saddam did have any weapons of mass destruction, so does several other countries in the world(including the US), and what does that have to do with the US?

Communism is where you do it, it gets done, or the Dictator will do with you what he sees fit

your an idiot, what your speaking of is totalitarian fascism, quite the opposite of communism. Frankly you guys really don't know much about bush. Okay, Guantanamo. For four years Arab citizens from all around the world, who have been charged with nothing but going against bush and the war efforts, have been left there, with little food per day(if any),poor living conditions, poor treatment, and overall they are treated like terrorist, without even having a trial or having any evidence to say they are terrorist. That's as facist as you can get.

I think he deserved what happened from his crimes, but l4t1n0pr1d3made a good point, he's just a sacrifice to try to get people to calm down and slow down the insurgence.
I'm going to blow a gasget. Look at World War II or World War I, did we kill Wilson for putting us into WW I in which about 10 MILLION ALTOGETHER (from every country) DIED!?!
No where close to actual figures. Half that and you get the actual miltary death. Note, last year we hit 200,000 military deaths total.

also, your site has inflated WWII casualties. It has alot of countries that did very little, if anything, in combat. Like Ethiopia. They were neutral and did nothing outside maintain there border, which is a given for any country.

And tell me pwn3d, do you have any evidence to disprove me? Because unless you do we have to go with what I have given evidence for, sorry. 200,000 deaths total, eh? Well again, in the past wars have we not killed more than that of our troops and not said anything about killing our president or even close to something like what lat1n0 has said? I don't think so, we have volunteered for this war, correct? As CK has said, if you volunteer for war, you volunteer your life to the country you're serving END OF DISCUSSION. If you try to fight that you can't, sorry, if you volunteer it is YOUR fault if something happens to you during that time, not the president.

I said IF Saddam DESERVES to die then Bush DESERVES to die as well. I never said anything about actually killing the President you see, since I don't think Saddam deserved to be hung. I do, however, think that both should be taken out of power. Well, 1 down at least.

btw, your in the wrong thread. The soldier, fight for country, die thing is in the other thread.

You can use it as a term of reference if it has relevance in the thread l4t1n. And yes I know what you meant, but still, that is my point, you can't kill one and say the other deserves to die as well. It's a different matter as me and CK have talked about.

Communism =/= Marxism. Marxism is the inspiration of communism, and is similar, but not the same.

An d what does that have to do with the US?

I was responding to a claim that Bush is just as bad as Saddam.

Bush sacrificed his soldiers for what gain? Even if Saddam did have any weapons of mass destruction, so does several other countries in the world(including the US), and what does that have to do with the US?

Man, I really need to compile a list so I don't have to keep arguing the reasons for war that are not just about WMDs.

--Oil
--Revenge
--Show of power
--Extension of democray
--WMDs
--Ousting of a ruler, capable of being ousted, who committed crimes against humanity
--Investigation of terrorist-related activities

Bush was wrong to go into Iraq, but he still deserved to die. He wasnt just ruling his country, he was killing his own people. Its like saying hitler didnt deserve to die, Hitler was ruling his country, but he was also doing terrible things.

Because civilization ISN'T something created by HUMAN BEINGS, right?

A mere collection of human beings doesn't make a civilization, it makes a mob. Civilization is ruled by justice (which of course is open to interpretation), enforced by a series of laws and moral obligations.

To put it simply, order. A lot of people yelling is chaos, which is the opposite.

I can tell the state of a country that still uses that form of death as its capital punishment.

1. He did deserve death in my opinion. Especially after all that he's done. The method sometimes seems inappropriate. But also injecting him with something to instantly kill him wouldn't do much. He needed that fear in him before he died. If they injected him then he probably wouldn't be as fearful as he was for the hanging.

2. Many people think he probably deserved more pain. I agree but I'm satisfied that they did just kill him. If they kept him alive and he somehow escaped, even though the chances are very unlikely, then he's loose and can do horrible things. If we tortured him though, wouldn't that just make the people who did so and the people who decided to just as sick as he is?

3. That is due to people's curiosity, parents who don't know what their kids see, and parents who don't care what their kids watch. (thats just a few reasons)

I actually saw the video of Saddam after his death. it was on ebaums world, and was very disturbing. you could see the inside of his neck or something, and he was all bloodied. and i think that it was wrong of them to hang Saddam, but Saddam was not a good guy.

I'll repeat. I have no love for a nation that *still* uses the gallows as its method of execution. I'd say "barbarians", but that'd be uncalled for.

You have no love for the UN then :)

Anyway, from what I heard, Saddam chose to be hung.
