Throughout the history of the human race, there have always been beliefs--some of which were so powerful that even wars raged on in their name. However, no belief has ever been so acclaimed or profound as that of a creator, an authority...God.
It's hard to say when He came into existance, but for thousands of years, His word spread until his presence was accepted as truth, all around the world. It wasn't until centuries later when what some believed to be the true way of the universe was discovered. Their evidence led them to believe that when a human, or any creature died, its life energy became that of forces such as electricity whose true origins were until recently, unknown. It was thought that this was agony for the dead, and some even believed that it was a cruel plot against the world that was fueled by the Lord's tyranny.
Now, at the end of the twenty-first century, some have sought to destroy God forever. This feat is thought to be achieved with the help of the dead. Ways of communicating with these tortured souls have resluted in several bonds between the living and the spirit world.
Countless spirits have agreed to lend their hands in this war, sharing their powers with the living. Of course, as in all wars, there will always be those who will gladly give their lives in His name.

~Now, for those of you who will fight AGAINST God, you will most-likely be using the help of a certain spirit. You don't have to if you don't want to, of course. If you would like to have a pact/bond with more than one spirit, however, PM me, but first things first: when using the abilities of a spirit, your character will be able to control their surroundings--things like water (currents and whatnot), electricity, sound waves, gravity, and so on.
~Your character will only be able to actually communicate with their spirit partner through a specific trance...this means that you won't be meeting with your spirit too often, but your will is their comand. Unless you piss them off, in which case, you better watch yourself.
It's a pretty simple plot, for now, but I may send you a PM once in a while asking you to take your character in a certain direction. Don't worry, I won't ask you to have your character do anything...out of character.

Here's my stuff...as you can see, it's not too long. Please don't feel as if you need a dozen paragraphs of information to be accepted. All I ask for is a unique character that holds potential for pivotal plot points.
Name: Cillian [KILL-ee-an] Aarbinger
Age: 22
Weapon: Assault rifle, machete, and the occasional dagger/knife.
Side: Heretic
Appearance: Cillian has short-cut (roughly chin-length), messily-layered, blonde hair. Her eyes are a deep blue/gray color and her overall complexion is fair. She is a petite girl, standing at around 5'0", but she's got a bit of muscle to her. She wears practical clothes for what she does on a daily basis (which usually involves some sort of hit and run) such as cargo pants, tank tops, and jackets. Cililan usually wears some sort of leather boots with various buckles strewn across them and assorted pieces of jewelry.
Bio: Cillian's parents were some of the first to persue this new truth to mankind, and were put to death some time after her birth. Since then, Cillian has been taken in by her relatives as well as some of the Heretic community. As she grew older, she submerged herself in their purpose and has been dedicated to it for years. She is on her way to becoming a resistance leader, herself. Cillian has no siblings as her parents did not live long enough to produce any.

Personality: Yorich has a deep passion for music and a very fierce personality as well as temper. His personality is unquestionably distinct and of course--psychotic.
Bio: Yorich lived a short life and died at the age of 26. He lived until the year 2005 when he died in a car accident. Yorich was born in Germany but lived most of his life in the U.S. It was there that he discovered his passion for music. He was a very talented musician and became obsessed with hard rock. Yorich was just becoming successful with his band when their tour van crashed into a tree. The police later found that alcohol was involved.
