Sword of Destiny

Prologue
There exists a legend in the world of Terra, about a time when the world was on the very brink of destruction due to the powers of an evil being, a sorcerer whose name has long since been forgotten. The sorcerer subdued enormous and powerful monsters and slaughtered over half of the world's population. Seeking to attain the powers of a god the sorcerer plunged Terra completely in darkness, and through the use of the power within the Four Elemental Seals and Sacred Stone, he sought to open a path to the Divine Dimension where his dreams would ultimately become a reality. Though eventually a valiant swordsman who came to be known simply as 'the hero' in modern times, with the aid of the gods in the power of a sword called Excalibur titled the sword of destiny, challenged the sorcerer to a battle...the hero along with his companions combined their powers and were able to bring Terra out of its days of darkness. However they failed to bring the battle with the sorcerer to a swift conclusion, and found themselves unable to seal him away. With the defeat of the hero and his companions all hope seemed lost until a young woman, whose true identity is unknown but is presumed to have been a goddess who took on human form. The women using all of her strength along with the powers of the Scared Stone and Four Elemental Seals managed to strip the weakened sorcerer of his remaining powers and sealed him away. Thanks to her, the despicable monsters that were once controlled by the sorcerer were freed from the sorcerer’s evil volitions, and shortly there after with no one around to cause trouble, Terra became a quiet place where everyone could live together in peace, but sadly the cost of her good deed was the young woman’s mysterious disappearance and the casting away of the both the Shadow Stone, the object the contained remaining magic of the sorcerer, as well as the Scared Stone since their power were too great for her to seal them away along with the sorcerer.

Story
Many centuries have passed since the days of the fateful days of the legend, in which Terra was almost lost because of ones man desire to become a god. The kingdoms of Terra have sustained peace and prosperity for several years and the inhabitants of the land have forgotten about the sinister powers of the sorcerer and the tragic events of the days of darkness, while others claim them all to be just a children’s fairy tale because of the fact that Shadows Stones, Scared Stone and even the hero’s legendary sword are believed to have all vanished without traces. But unknown to the mainly all of Terra a secret sect known as the Black Order has formed inside the kingdoms with the goal of collecting all the shards of the Shadows Stone as well as obtaining the Four Elemental Seals and finding the Scared Stone, as the members seek to follow the same path as the sorcerer, hoping that after collecting the Stones and Seals will grant them the power of gods. Though the leader of the Black Fang is still remains a mystery many that known about the existence have began to speculate that he is one of the kings of Terra. Soon the world shall be in chaos again like the events of the so called days of legend but unlike those days will there be a hero or goddess to save Terra this time? The answer still remains unknown but soon the Sword of Destiny, the sword once used by the hero that was bestowed upon him by the gods, will reveal itself again and unknowingly change the fate of two young lives and their companions.

Allowed Races
-Hume- Basically your average human nothing really needed to be explained about this.
-Bangaa- A reptilian race, whose level of intelligence is comparable to that of Humes, though they live almost twice as long.
-Hounds- Are a race of swift wolf-like people. The hounds are widely famous for their hunting and tracking skills.
-Furen- A race of cat-like people. Furen are natural born fighters and known throughout the world for their skilled hand to hand combat.
-Faeries- A very secretive and mystical race known for there beauty and vast knowledge of magic. Comprised of only females, Faeries have a very similar appearance to Humes, except for the fact that they born with wings almost like that of a butterfly.
-Other-(Some suggestion for races may be taken but I do not want to see demons, oni, angels, gods, or goddesses)
*Munati- An arrogant and reclusive race that is amphibious, their kingdom is located hidden deep with the vast oceans of Terra, harboring a unique scared item. The Munati have been known to be the masters of the seas and magic dealing with the water elemental.

Weapon/Powers: She doesn’t know of any yet but later she will have the power of invisibility, force/gravity and healing. Her weapon choice is either a bow or a sword.

Race: Reminants of a Goddess

Personality: Cassia is optimistic and likes to make everyone laugh. She is always willing to help others even if it puts her in danger. She is very protective of her little sister and her friends. The only problem with Cassia is that she never has faith in herself and it holds her back from things she wants.

Bio: Cassia lives in present day New York City and has grown up to take care of herself. Her parents aren’t the supportive type and she is the one that takes care of herself and her sister. Her family has taken two different roads and she visits her parents once a month in their shack. Her boyfriend is a big part of her life and she also lives with him in a small apartment along with her sister. James has always been there for her but lately they have been fighting because of her parent’s situation. Her childhood was normal and she grew up like every other kid except she used to write stories on a place called Avalon. The images of this fantasy world used to fill her mind and she could feel herself become a part of that society. Even now, she doesn’t have many friends because of the responsibilities she must keep and all of her friends haven’t matured. The stories of Avalon remain but now they fill at least five different books and her nightmares as if something has happened to change her outlook. As for her extended family, she doesn’t know anything about them and it is like they never existed on this world. She is young but her life was completely different than anyone that grew up in NYC.

Name: "Chainz" the Joker

Age: His true age is currently unknown, all though he appears to be in his early or mid twenties.

Gender: Male

Weapon/Powers: "Chainz" wears the shackles from what used to be a restraint. The rest of what used to be a broken chain is now attached to two 9-inch scythes that lie at both ends. The chain of this weapon is wrapped entirely around "Chainz's" right arm.

Race: Hume

Personality: Despite his unusual attire, "Chainz" is portrayed as a schizophrenic being. Witnessing various, all though bizarre visions and hallucinations, the Hume is plagued with a massive case of insecurity that eventually led up to paranoia. Not only that but it also caused arrogance and aggression to develop as well. But just because "Chainz's" may look like a simple-minded freak, that doesn't mean to take him lightly. When the time comes, he can become rather violent to the point where it's best to keep your distance.


Bio: Ah yes, the unusual yet peculiar fellow. Where to begin now, really?

Not much can be said about the silent "Joker" seeing how not much can be really deciphered of his past. Not even a birthplace or even his home world can be figured out either considering "Chainz" knows none of these very important pieces of information. The only thing that can obviously pointed is the "G" branded/stamped on his left arm. The "G" itself is practically the key to finding out the unknown past of this Hume. However, "Chainz" had recently found himself in the heart of New York City. It was almost as if he was sent here for a reason, feeling a presence that lied within the city itself. All though he sticks out the most, "Chainz" follows his senses in order to find this presence while battling his schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. It is unclear as to what his purpose is in this specific time period but finding whoever he senses within New York City seems to be one of them.

Name: Hiro Strata

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Weapon/Powers: Currently wields a standard Etrurian Knight broadsword. (link)
-Hiro also has the unique ability to perform minor black magic such as manipulating elements of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth without the aid of tomes or chants, but currently is only able to use it to empower his weapons as well as creating small energy blasts made out of one of the four elements.

Race: Appears to be Hume, but will be revealed later what race Hiro really is.

Personality: Hiro mostly tires keep a carefree and optimistic attitude, as he is the type of person that enjoys to play around and have fun though he can be quite serious when the time calls for it. Hiro is also known to be extremely cocky and somewhat arrogant but is admired for his better qualities which are is his bravery, strength, cleverness, determination, and caring.

Bio: Known for his strange yet unique red eyes and sliver hair, Hiro was an orphan that was raised in the remote village of Gate by the head priest, Strata. However one fateful night nearly eight years ago the village after a massive earthquake originating from Mt. Tetra, at the base of which Gate once resided, and what remained of the village became consumed in a fire. The whole city was eventually lost to the unquenchable flames of the fire as it took countless lives, leaving only Hiro as one the few who survived the fire, though he has little recollection of exactly what happened on that day except for the strange emblem on the airship that departed from the village on that day.
Although Hiro had managed to survive the tragic event, he was on the verge of death and would have eventually died from his injuries if had not been found by a young general by the name of Seth, who was dispatched along with his troops sent by the nearby kingdom of Etruria in order to investigate the strange disturbances. Seth feeling sorry for Hiro decided to take the boy in and take care of Hiro along with the aid of his wife. The couple raised for the next few years teaching him many things including how to better wield a sword as well as chivalry. Hiro as way to honor Seth and his family for taking him in is, currently serving as a knight in the Etruria army and his been recently stationed to protect the small town of Burg.

Name: Ceon Tavar

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Weapon/Powers:

Leviathan: This sword was named after Leviathan. It was once used by the mighty water god until he was defeated. It is powerful beyond belief able to create a rip in the ocean with a mere swing. If Ceon can learn to wield this sword properly, he could become the next water god supposedly.

Water magic: Like all Munati, Ceon was born with a water tome placed inside his body. He is extremely skilled in water magic. Since he is the descendant of Leviathan, Ceon can use anceint magic easily and use forbidden magic without nearly killing himself.

Water Manipulation: Ceon is a comeplete master in the manipulation of water. He can control water in various ways and use the water molecules in the air to create the water he needs. He can make it rain with the slightest of ease. His has the ability to shot water from his mouth in a highly pressurized ball, or beam. Can even drown someone with the water in their body or fill their lungs up until they die.

Leviathan Transformation: Ceon received this transformation during the ritual of Kings. Only kings of Atlantica have ever possessed this transformation. No one has ever survived a battle against a king using this tranformation. The entire ocean is at it's fingertips. The kind of power this tranformation possess is unbelieveable.

Race: Munati

Personality: Thanks to his upbringing, Ceon is by nature very non-serious. He doesn't believe in planning your entire life out or being overtly serious. He believes sometimes you need to take everything day by day and enjoy life as it passes you by. Happily cheerful by nature and with a humorous glint in his eye, Ceon is very friendly and approachable. He also has a joker’s streak in him.

And there are two things Ceon is very serious about, nay probably the only things Ceon is serious about. Never mess with his village or friends, never mock it for Ceon Tavar loves his village and friends and would do anything for them. His father instilled this love in him a long time ago, and he had vowed that he would always defend it.

Bio: Will tell in rp. Just know that Ceon is one of four Munati to leave Atlantica in over two thousand years.

Name: Faith Crest

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Weapon/Powers: She doesn't actually carry a weapon around at all; she considers her fists to be her weapon since she is a black belt in karate and knows kickboxing. Faith recently found out three years ago that she had powers, despite the fact that she appears to be your average normal teenage girl. She can perform telekinesis, telepathy and also has vision that are (usually) quite painful.

Race: Hume

Personality: Faith is usually seen as cheerful and tries to keep everyone positive, yet she seems to be haunted by her mysterious past that she's never quite been able to figure out herself. At times, she can be angry and frustrated meaning that she would take it out on someone. Her anger combined with her powers can make her quite a force to be reckoned with.

Bio: Adopted into a nice family, yet different than the other teens around her. On one cold, cruel, dark and rainy night, Faith was found by a kind-hearted woman on her doorstep and took her in as her own since she and her husband were both unable to have children. They named her Faith (instructed by the letter left with her at the doorstep supposedly written by her family) and looked after her. Faith was born in England, but now lives in New York City (however, she still maintains a British accent). She was a smart and hard-working girl, although when she was fourteen, she started to feel different to the others surrounding her. And then that was when the nightmares began. Faith began to have nightmares of an organisation known as the Black Order and of a world called Terra. From that moment on, she found out that she could move things with her mind, read other people's mind and as for the nightmares? They were visions of the past, present and future.

For three years, Faith has devoted her life to making things right. With the aid of her powers, she has secretly saved lives and brought justice to her neighbourhood. The city is her place to play around. But when fighting criminals one day, Faith spotted several Black Order members crossing over into her world as if they were looking for someone. Confronting them directly, she tried to beat them down, but was overwhelmed in the end. Faith was left for dead having being beaten up badly and taunted her about never being able to understand her real family. Several days later, she woke up in hospital with her family shunning her after seeing what had happened. Fortunately for Faith, there was one person that could help her. A scientist named Patricia Musso, claiming to be her godmother and remaining relative, said that she was meant for more than fighting crime and saving lives in the city. Confused and distraught, Faith ran away only to be haunted by the fact that there's more to her nightmares than she first thought ... it was something to do with ... a her best friend named Cassia and ... the Sword of Destiny.

Name: Kaili Feldur
Age: 20
Gender: Female

Weapon/Powers: Kaili carries no real weaponry; athletic in build, with a great deal of strength, and stamina, she is lethal in herself even without means of attack. However she wears a pair of fingerless leather gauntlets. The gauntlets are fairly intricate in design, embroidered with patterning down the outsides, and studded in various places upon the dark brown leather.

Race: Furen

Personality: Sharp, alert, and attentive, Kaili never misses a trick. Her perceptive nature is not uncommon for a Furen such as herself. An intelligent young woman, she is strong in mind as well as in body.
Though she is intimidating in the realms of battle and academia, Kaili is, in reality, kind-hearted, warm, and affectionate. She never resorts to violence as a first means of solving things, and her rational head allows her to judge situations quite well.
Though, she fiercely defends her loved ones. If one happened to do harm to, say, a partner, or friend, then she would, without a moment of thought, proceed to destroy the fool that had been silly enough to mess with them.

Bio: Born into a small tribe, to one of the more important leaders, Kaili was brought up in a traditional Furen manner - strict, but fair, with plenty of combat training. She was quickly noticed as one of the more kind-hearted of Furen. Not much can be said for her past, other than the fact she longed to see worlds outside of their little village. Her parents did not object to this adventurous plan, and let her go on her way when she was 19. She still visits the village regularly, for Furen are very close to their families.

Appearance: Reaching 5'8, Kaili is fairly tall. She is of an athletic, though not overly muscular build, with large, paw-like hands, and feet. Her face is fairly Hume-like, though her clearly feline - in the sense that they are quite big - amber eyes, and her slightly upturned nose differentiate her as a Furen - not to mention, the fur growing wispy upon her cheekbones, leading up into her long, golden-blonde hair. The skin she has is light in colour.

A thin layer of fur - visible, particularly with a sheen in the light - covers her entire body, but is thickest - though still not too noticeable - around her forearms, hands, feet, and neck. Typically of her race, she also has a fairly long tail, and feline ears.

Along with her gauntlets she wears leather armour, embroidered with sacred designs and incantations. Beneath this she wears a plain white underdress, visible only at the bottom of her armour, not beneath its sleeves.

Name: Alito Mayer

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Weapon/Powers:

Break- Alito's main weapon, Break, is a five foot long blade that uses the sun's light as energy to take down his foe. The blade absorbs the rays from the sun which causes it to shine brighter than any other blade. When Alito uses the blade in sunlight, he can deliver more powerful blows and projectiles than he could if he was fighting in the shadows. His projectiles are shot from the sword itself and can range from a small wave to a massive blast of energy.
In the shadows, Alito can only use the sword as a melee weapon.

Alito's natural abilities include that of being swift and having sharp reflexes. His hearing is also enhanced by the wolf-type ears atop his head. Also, Alito has a "natural kill" type of trance. In this state, Alito has no control of his consciousness and dismisses his blade and battles on all fours. With that, his speed and strength is increased tenfold.

Race: Hound/Hume

Personality: Alito has the personality of a norman 17-year-old Hume, but with a few exceptions. His temper is flared easily from simple taunts, to actually being provoked. And with his temper, he has the drive to accomplish anything he sets his mind to. With that said, Alito is not your sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to knowledge, but his common sense and strategy is off the charts.

Bio: Growing up with only one brother, Alito Mayer has had some rigorous times in his past. From his earliest memory, Alito has had only one goal in life, which is to survive. He and his brother, Lex Mayor, have grown up together and both have trained themselves only for protection purposes. Now, Alito and Lex live toghether in a small house in the middle of a grassy plain off to the east of civilization.

Appearance: Standing at an average of 5'9, Alito has the physical appearance of a Hound as well as a Hume. His gray and black hair strech just as far as his shoulder blades and eyebrows. The two pointed fangs that protrude from Alito's mouth, brings out the blood-red color of his eyes. His fingernails are longer than the average Hume's, but he still retains the normal instict of a Hound. His muscular build is also inhereted from both genes. The muscles in his arms and legs are exceptionally defined.

Alito is usually seen wearing a red bandana across his forehead while his upper body is covered with a long, navy coat with part of the right lseeve missing. Under the coat Alito wears a white, leather vest covering his neck. His legs are covered by white shorts that end just past his knees. Alito's knees are protected by black braces. Also, he wears black boots covering his feet, and black fingerless gloves.

Natural Kill: While fighting on all fours, Alito has a dark glow enclosing him in a sphere. Inside of the sphere, Alito's hair grows longer while his nails and fangs grow also. The redness in his eyes begome sharper to the piont where they seem like they are diamonds. Other than that, his original attire stayes the same.
