During the the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra Tour, an interview with Tetsuya Nomura mentioned Kairi and Lea training together in a place where "time flows differently". However, I have forgotten the original article that mentions it and I was wondering if anyone had a link to it or a screenshot of the webpage.

It’s not really an interview. It was the script for Kairi’s letter to Sora between 3D and 3. Give me a tick and I’ll have the transcribed version for you from the Orchestra booklet.

I didn't notify you but you might've already heard from Yen Sid-sama.
I've come to train to become a Keyblade wielder.
Until now, I've only been waiting for you guys to come back from your journey.

At first I was a bit scared but
As we trained together we started talking to each other.
I found out Lea also has a best friend he wants to save.
I felt like, he's not a person that I can bring myself to hate...


Sometimes..... He'd stare at my face
So I'd ask him, what's wrong?
"I don't know, but I feel like it's something I must recall", He'd say...


Your journey is a journey that will help many people
and the people you'll meet from now on
I have a feeling these people you meet will also need your help


The journey might be hard but
Please stay as the cheerful and bright Sora I know
Because your smile, will save many hearts.....

To be honest, I kinda wish this letter actually appeared in KH3. I feel like we might see it in 3, but it would've been better if it was first revealed there instead of in the concert. Doesn't really make a difference in the end though

well to be fair nomura did say he didnt have video for it at the concert so i woultld think it going to be in kh3 with cinmatrics

Also, the time chamber training ground was already mentioned in DDD. Lea was already training inside such space.

It was a video, though. It was a bunch of really nice real landscape shots of trees, trains, flowers, water, and other shots and then it shows a young woman standing, facing away from the camera starting out at the twilight sunset/sunrise.

They could redo those shots in 3D with existing assets from KH3 if they wanted to. They’ve done more for random reasons (I.e. those added Days scenes)

Oh, that's interesting, I never knew they were was a video. I thought the actress simply read her lines without any sort of video, like Aqua's va did. That's really cool! I really hope they recreate those scenes and maybe show them while Sora reads the letter? I think that'd be nice

There was a video of that scene with the Kairi's letter script being read aloud? Damn, people must've not been allowed to record or share it if it hasn't popped up on Youtube months after the orchestra tour finished.

Yes, it was forbidden to record during the concert. Disney is also very proactive about taking videos down if and when they crop up for the most part.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but regarding the central topic of this thread this isn't of that much importance since the actual source of Merlin's time chamber and thus its canonity is actually from Dream Drop Distance rather than a small concert snippet, isn't it?

I've even the original dialogue piece here:

Mickey: Master Yen Sid. Gosh, do ya think he'll be able to do it?
