No Riku didnt die.He was just shut behind the Kingdom Hearts wit Mickey. He coulnt have died in KH cuz hes in KH COM. And for all we know now for sure is that he is walking the road to dawn with Mickey, althoug hes probably most definetly the Unknown on teh building.

He just lost his heart and went to the Darkside where mickey is. only mickey got there with his heart somehow and thats how mickey obtain his keyblade on the Darkside.
