Kairi is the friend who will support them both. Maybe she likes Sora. I don't know. But it's like if you lose a best friend, right? They've all known eachother since childhood and if you loose a friend like that, you get all sad and mopy and are all 'where are theeeey.'

KH should stay open ended. As obvious as Sora/Kairi is, especially in the first game, there's also plenty of people against it. I like it and all, but I MUCH prefer some Zexion/Kairi love, as crack as it is...oh, and Kairiku.
