So about the cencering...

Hi,

I was just curious to here how they cencered the things in the POTC world. I had heard about the blood in olympus being changed and the sniper change, however how did they change the guns/ blood/ alcohol in POTC.

The cencoring is really not noticeable, I wouldnt even be able to tell they censored if no one told me.

they really didnt censor much....in POTC,u see barbosa drinking and they show the blood when he cuts elizabeths hand,I dont know abot the snipin though...

I barely noticed any censoring, which is good. PotC shows pretty much everything.

Yeah, they did change how the sniper scope looked, and I suppose maybe so it wouldn't look like a real gun scope. Then again, considering how the guns looked and what they shot, I prefer the more neon, futuristic look of the scope.

They do show Barbossa drinking and the blood on the coin in Port Royal. And the pirates who had the guns still looked like they had muskets to me. I mean, to actually tell the difference you have to be next to them and looking for it closely.

As for the hydra's blood...it's green and black in this game. Then again, who's to say the hydra bleeds red?

The censoring is so unnoticable, it's ridiculous. It makes you think, "Does this REALLY make it more adjusted for children?"

The changed color in blood.... well, unless it had to be changed from red, I would understand. The slight gun changes are barely noticable, I mean, they still SHOOT you right? Doesn't matter how different it looks. Sniper change... meh. The new one looks cooler anyway. XD

I don't think it's our laws as much as politicians hopping on the moral bandwagon and accusing media or corrupting our youth so they can get more publicity.

For those who wanted to know and are interested, Hydra's blood is/was intended to be the colour green, because the creature of the same name in Greek mythology had poison for blood (therefore, green). In the Japanese version of the game, it is given that colour.

And why I bring this up to you is because it obviously isn't in the English version of the game. Instead, we get black and purple smoke.
