Hell is a malevolent den of fire and brimstone. What better place to find fire and brimstone than in areas we can easily reach? Hell = Earth.

Face_Down, everything that science says disagrees with the bible and gives many more legibel ways to how the universe and earth was created.

Oh, please jump the other extreme. Not everything is contradicting. In that case, it would seem like Science was built solely to thwart the ideas of religion, not to understand the mechanics of life and whatnot.
