I'll just kind of submit something I had on my mind.
Selfishness operates every organism. The man makes money for his family, but only because his family being happy makes him happy. The woman cooks and cleans for her family, but only because her family being happy makes her happy. The child plays and tries to be polite when told, but only because when he is polite he is not scolded and that makes him happy.
Every being is selfish. The outcome of each action is expected to, in some way, benefit the catalyst. This makes me wonder...
Has any person, or will any ever, achieve complete selflessness? Or are we doomed by greed for our eternity?

To the others, life controls them.
To me, I control my life.
I should start doing these while I'm on hallucinogens. They wouldn't make any sense, but I'm sure there will be a point somewhere.

I used to listen to that song every day of my life. Brings back memories.
The world is dying. More and more people are coming down with sickness. Countries are suffering. Natural disasters seem to be on the rise. It seems as if the world is against us, and that an ultimate climax is approaching.

A man walk up to a priest, who seemed to have all the answers.
"I can't seem to understand why the world is not accepting."
And the priest looked puzzled, never did he think of answering such a question.
"Now, I don't agree with that." he said
And the man started to cry.
"Why are you crying, young man?" asked the priest.
"Because nothing is working."
"Whatever do you mean?"
"People do not agree, do not agree, do not agree. Why can they not see things open mindedly?"
And the Priest started to cry.
"Why are you crying now, Priest."
"Because even the ones who seem to know it all do not know it at all."
"I thought the same of you!"
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Because I didn't want to seem foolish."
The priest let out a small chuckle and plainly said
"Maybe that's why no one understands."

Also, Time, your writing seems to be an excerpt from the depths of my ( and no doubt countless of others' ) mind.
It's kinda odd. The fact that our memories are our most valuable possession in life. Memories are the catalysts for everything we are, and our whole being revolves around them.
Without our memories, what are we?
