Question about TAV capes

So I know that Nomura said the capes were removed because of the psp hardware and the capes would take too much data space. But my question is: Have the capes been officially retconed? Or are the Capes still canonically present in BBS even though we don't see them?

I've always considered them canonically present in BBS, considering the Lingering Sentiment has been canonized, and he has a cape. Or Terra at the very least does have one.

I would consider them noncanon. Simply because they don't show up. But, I don't really think it's a big deal if one believes if they are there or not, I mean, it isn't like it has any bearing on the actual plot.

funny, just recently I read a Nomura Interview regarding the capes and Nomura said they were canonically present just we dont see them. I could be wrong though, it could've just been a figment of my imagination that I read that part. Who knows? Well, Nomura knows. But I kinda like TAV capeless.

i say it was your figment of your imagination.....still, i think their canon. though i prefer if they werent, it has that japanese series Kamen Rider feel only much better. the capes would make it look like an un-even mix of eastern and western IMO.
