FF:Tactics had a better storyline..Or so I think...Hell it had character progression...which FF7 lacks..Now that was OK when the game came out and I didn't care..

I wonder why people like cloud, when the entire purpose of the character was just to get you to hit plot point and have him have no thoughts what-so ever. He was just there, he just existed. the entire point of ff7 in my opion was the problem with haveing nuclear weapons, it can destroy the world......

an emo is somebody that is always sad and miserable, thinks their life sucks and such and such.

When Cloud met Aeris he didnt say anything about his life sucking. He did say that he was once a soldier and that he needed to meet up with Tifa but never in that period of time did he say anything about his life sucking. When he did talk about his past, he just talked about how he wanted to get back at sephiroth for destroying his hometown. He never thought his life sucked he just wanted revenge, maybe it was just you that thought his life sucked.

i like FF:Tactics too, i liked the game but i never finished it because i didn't liked the story. The gameplay was better than ff7, but the story wasn't

Well, I think it was just that I felt a connection with the characters, I could empathise with them, I liked when parts were left open to interpretation and I liked the backstories...
