Story
Wasteland
Jet stands over a cliff and holds his airboard by his side. Suddenly Storm and Wave arrive. Storm speaks,"Where to?" Jet takes a few steps back and then runs towards the edge of the cliff. Before he reaches the edge, Jet throws his board into the air and jumps on it heading down the side of the cliff. Storm and Wave go after their leader. Wave looks back,"He's coming." A drill is then heard and Eggman pops out from the cliff the Babylon Rogues already left from. Eggman heads after them,"Get back here!" Storm turns around heads towards Eggman breaking his drill into pieces. Jet and Wave make it out of the area. The two stop riding and turns around to see flames from behind them. Someone comes out of the fire with Storm. Knuckles is on his board riding next to Storm. Knuckles speaks,"Time to go to work." Storm says,"Still, the others haven't made it here."
Metal City
Sonic is sitting around as Tails customizes their airboards. Sonic asks,"Are they ready yet?" Tails nods and the two get on their boards. While on their way out the city, Shadow and Rouge come onto the scene, fighting on their airboards with each other. Shadow speaks,"The emerald is mine." Rouge tosses the emerald into the air,"Not a chance." Shadow grabs the chaos emerald. Sonic and Tails are watiching to see what Shadow was planning to do. A burst of light comes from the emerald and words are spoken,"Chaos Control!" All four of then disappear and reappear in the wasteland not so far from Jet, Wave, Storm, and Knuckles.
Wasteland
Jet looks off into the sky and sees Sonic, Tails, Shadow, and Rouge falling from the sky,"Looks like they're here." Sonic gets up from the ground and heads to where Jet is. Shadow gets up and jumps down to where everyone else is. Tails and Rouge come along. Sonic asks,"Jet, why are we here?" Jet points to a large gate in the distance,"That is what we're going for." Everyone gets their airboards and head to the gate. There SHadow throws the Chaos Emerald he has into a slot and the gate opens, revealing a city. Jet runs in,"It's the lost Persia City." A cloaked figure walks up to the group and throws dust to the ground. Everyone falls to the ground.
Persia City
Everyone sits unconscious in a prison cell. They then hear sparks and wake up. Tails speaks,"Where are we?" Shadow answers,"From the looks of it, prison." Sonic is walking back and forth,"Something is wrong. Why would we all be kindnapped?" Storm and Knuckles head towards the cell door and start punching at it. Before they broke it completely, the same cloaked figure appears before them,"Stop." He then removes his hood and he seen to be a wolf,"You two." He then points at Sonic and Jet,"Follow me." He opens up the cell and Sonic and Jet walk out. The wolf shuts the door. Jet asks,"Who are you?" "I am the guardian of Persia City, Arius." He then leads the two into an arena. There two others stand there. Arius heads towards the center of the arena and speaks to a crowd of people,"The next Persia Grand Prix shall begin. There are many racers all competing for a few things." He then shows the six Chaos Emeralds and the seven Sol Emeralds,"Friends will now be pit against each other to win the emeralds." Sonic and Jet run at Arius ready to attack him, until an unknown force keeps them where they're standing. Arius speaks,"Meet the two of the particapants of the Grand Prix, Sonic and Jet." Sonic speaks,"What are you doing, Arius?" "I want to see who is the best of the best." Sonic and Jet look at each other and then at Arius.
