Suppp guise. I haven't been that active recently, and after this weekend I probably won't be for a while. :c
Nyeh, well, I decided to make this thread because I'm finally starting to get back into art (two-three hours a day at school, man) and it's awesome.
I take humanities which is a crap load of work, but that's not the point. Every quarter we have a major project due that's relevant to the topic we're currently learning about. For this quarter it's Egypt to ancient Greece. For my topic, I decided to do Greek theater...not that unique but s'alright. So, along with my two page paper (lol), I have to do something artistic. So, of course, I decided to do Greek masks. c:
I originally had plastic, white masks that I was going to paint, but my teacher suggested I do them out of clay. Now, mind you, I dislike clay. I think it's a wonderful medium, it's just my weak point and I hate working with it. xD So, as much as I did not like the idea, I went with it and this is my result:
It's and D:
harhar
But seriously, I haven't touched clay in four years so I'm pretty pleased so far. xD
I also took pictures during the process;

Yee brah.
The first one took me four hours, while the second took me a little over one.
I think I'm going to end up painting them, what do you guys think? Any advice/comment is appreciated. c:
Also, if you happen to know of some site that could assist me in decorating them or have just any general info about Greek masks, that would be awesome. <3
